Sir my HBA1C is 6.7 in Sep23 ( it was 12.60 in Sep 2022 & came down to 6.80 in Apr 2023 ), FBS is 89 and PP Sugar is 88 (Sep23), am on Glitaray M1 (MN) since past 1 year, i stated to follow very strict diet from Aug23 - eating seasonal fruits in morning between 9 AM to 12 Noon, green salad before lunch n have millets preparation for lunch, same as lunch for dinner, drink Kashaya during the day, not having milk and diary products, oil, sugar, white rice, wheat, maida, fried food, fast food, junk food, outside food, do Brisk walk for 45 mins about 5500 steps in morning and 1500 steps in evening, Yoga in morning for 20 mins followed by Meditation in morning for 20 mins, my question is my HBA1C is not coming down even though my Fasting & PP Glucose have come down to normal level. please help

Ans: - Avoid sugar, jaggery and honey in ur diet
- Avoid fruit juices, coconut water and sugarcane juice
- Include protein with every meal
- Use cold pressed oils instead of refined oils
- Quality sleep - 7hrs/day
- Manage ur stress levels

Try and reduce the carbs(roti/rice/bread) and include more protein in the meal.

I do not have much physical activity throughout the day. I have autoimmune hypothyroidism and I feel so lethargic to the point I am unable to get up and study unless I have some adrenaline rush before the stressful test. What I must eat and do to feel energetic and feel active? I usually consume 2-3 spoons of coffee and that just serves the purpose. But caffeine is not something I want my body to depend upon. Please suggest some practical tricks for me as my very important exam is coming up next month and I must excel it.

Ans: If you have hypothyroid, avoid eating raw crucifers like broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, or lettuce that contains goitrogen that hinders the uptake of iodine.

Cook or steam these veggies thoroughly before consuming them.

Ans: What do u eat for breakfast?
If ur breakfast is carb loaded(Roti/bread/rice) and if you're not having enough protein (curd, milk,egg) then the sugar will crash!

Ans: - Milk powder is fine, just check the nutritional label for sugar content (it has to be zero sugar)

- Peanut and coconut in small amount once in a while is fine, avoid peanuts of u have any gut issues

I am 41 M. Both of parents are diabetic. Doctor told me that due to parents you have 80% of chances to be diabetic around reaching 45. How can i avoid, if i have to prevent this condition? Please suggest

- Avoid sugar, honey and jaggery in the diet
- Avoid processed & packaged foods
- Eat protein with every meal
- Exercise regularly
- Manage sleep and stress

Ans: Eat more simple home cooked meals
- shift from Refined oil to Cold-pressed oil/ghee
- Eat small meals.
- include curd& buttermilk in ur meals
- Early dinner, a gap of 2-3hrs between dinner and bed time
- Avoid raw foods
- Deep breath prior to ur meal
- chew ur food thoroughly
- eat slowly
- Avoid green chillies

I am suffering from extreme acidity problem for the last one year. The doctor has suggested taking a tablet for acidity. I am looking for a permanent solution. What could be the reasons and what can I to do reduce it?
