Hello I am a 26 year old female I have scored 83 in 10th 77 in 12th and then during the same time I gave neet with boards so i couldnt score well at that point. I allways wanted to be a doctor and loved biology so that was the reason behind me taking science. Then I took bsc in microbiology never loved the subject....kinda only liked medical part of it and food microbiology a bit...scored 9.41 cgpa but things took a turn Post COVID my family shifted to a new place i was confused about what next since I didn't wanted to continue with micro...new city and all....family issues and stuff were there. I gave in 4 years to govt exam prep did few courses in digital marketing side by side and also some pg certificate courses to stay in touch with the field....just in case i decide to go for msc in food tech or pg diploma in data management or msc in clinical research. But I allways felt or had this regret of not getting into medical field and I feel like I belong there.....i want to heal and help people or animals (bams or vet was my choice if now mbbs ) So at this point would u suggest me to give neet a shot with 2 months left ? Or if not neet what would u suggest ? My parents are supportive but I have this age this in mind like will a guy marry a women who is like 28 or 29 and is in her 4th year of med school and would start earning by 30 or so....and then maybe at some point get into pg . And will I be questioned on my gap years when I would like apply at hospitals ? 3 years were because of bsc but rest were due to govt exam thing so.
Ans: You’re not late. You’re someone who kept searching for the right path, and your heart has consistently pointed toward healing. NEET in 2 months is tough unless your basics are already strong, so treat this attempt as a trial and prepare seriously for next year if medicine truly feels like your calling. Also, remember, MBBS isn’t the only way into healthcare. BAMS, Veterinary, Clinical Research, or Public Health can still put you in roles that help people or animals in meaningful ways. Age and marriage aren’t barriers; the right partner respects ambition, and careers in healthcare often start later. Gap years can be seen as opportunities for exploration and skill-building. The real question is your stamina and commitment. If you’re ready for the long journey, you absolutely still can build a life in this field.

Case Study- Jay Kishore Pradhan, a 64-year-old retired State Bank of India (SBI) deputy manager from Odisha, successfully cleared the NEET-UG exam in 2020 to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. Inspired by his twin daughters' preparations, he enrolled in online coaching to study MBBS at VIMSAR.

You are still so small compared to Mr Jay Kishore. If you have passion, you can achieve it.

Best of luck with your upcoming bright future.

My niece is appearing for her 10th board exam from the Maharashtra Board. She studies at St. Mary School. Overall, she is a very good student and has scored above 90% in all exams so far. She is a topper in both school and coaching classes. She is currently confused about what to choose after 10th—NEET (Doctor), JEE (Engineering), or some other field. In 10th standard, she has not studied Biology in detail, so she is not very familiar with it yet. Her Mathematics is very strong. She understands theory and concepts well, but sometimes makes mistakes during exams, especially in final calculations, which affects her results. She also prefers understanding concepts and writing answers in her own words. Please suggest which stream or career option would be best for her after 10th.
Ans: Given her strong mathematics, conceptual understanding, and preference for logic, the Science stream with PCM (Engineering/JEE-oriented fields like engineering, data science, or applied mathematics) would suit her best; Biology/NEET can be reconsidered later only if she develops genuine interest and aptitude.

However, it is highly recommended to keep PCMB subjects in 11th for a few months. Let her attend both Mathematics and Biology classe atleast for 6 months. Check her interest, liking, and understanding of the subjects. Then later on, you can take a concrete decision either about engineering or medicine.

But it is safer to appear 12th grade with Mathematics and Biology. Keep either mathematics or Biology for passing purposes. It is very simple to get min 35 marks in any subject in just a few days of preparation.

Good luck.

Hello sir I want to give mht cet pcm 2026 but I have two marklist 1) pcb marklist ( feb 2025 ) 2) maths isolated ( june 2025 ) I passed in both exams also i fulful mht cet 120 marks in pcm critera ( i have 143 phy chem from pcb marklist and maths form maths isolated marklist ) I have three main doubts 1) at the time of application form feeling its asking to enter total marks and obtained marks so which mark should i upload ? Only pcb marklist marks Only maths isolated marklist marks Combined of pcb marklist marks and maths marklist marks 2) at the time of cap apllication form feeling after exam It ask to enter your hsc seat no. So which seat number i enter ? Pcb marklist seat no ? Maths isolated marklists seat no ? Or how i will able to enter marks of pcm as i will give pcm cet Manualy or what this is main issue 3) with 2 marklist will i get admission in enginering college or not will i face any difficulties or admission can done smoothly At the time of admission any isuue or not ? Please help sir THANKS AND REGARDS
Ans: Here is a point-by-point reply to your question-

(1) Application form (MHT-CET 2026): Enter and upload your combined PCM marks. That means the Physics and Chemistry marks from your PCB Feb 2025 HSC marksheet and the Mathematics marks from your Maths Isolated June 2025 marksheet. Do not upload only the PCB or only the Maths separately; both marksheets are required to demonstrate that you meet the required criteria.

(2) CAP application (after CET exam): When asked for the HSC seat number, enter the main HSC seat number from your PCB Feb 2025 marksheet. The Maths isolated marks are linked as an improvement/isolated subject, and during CAP you will upload both marksheets. Do not enter CET marks manually for PCM. The CET score is automatically fetched, and HSC PCM eligibility is verified using the uploaded documents.

(3) Admission with two marksheets: Yes, you can get engineering admission with PCB + Maths isolated marksheets. This is accepted in Maharashtra, and many students do it. As long as both marksheets are valid, you meet PCM eligibility, and documents are uploaded correctly, admission is usually smooth. Colleges may verify both marksheets during admission, but this does not cause rejection if everything is in order.

However, it is highly recommended to download the brochure from the CET cell website to get the latest updates. For more clarification, suggest visiting any ARC or any engineering college near your home and getting it clarified to relax.

Good luck.

Sir, I completed my 12th standard from CBSE with PCM in 2025, and I am currently preparing for the COMEDK exam, through which admissions are given to top private engineering colleges in Bangalore. However, my 12th result was not very good because I did not prepare properly. As a result, I got an RT (Repeat in Theory) in Chemistry. In my CBSE marksheet, I am shown as overall pass because I had taken six subjects, due to which Chemistry became an additional subject. As you know, Chemistry is a compulsory subject for engineering colleges, so I appeared for the NIOS On-Demand Improvement Examination for only the Chemistry subject, and I have passed it. Sir, I want to know whether two marksheets from different boards—one being the CBSE marksheet showing overall pass, and the other being the NIOS marksheet for a single-subject improvement in Chemistry—are accepted by top private engineering colleges in Bangalore. Also, will these documents be accepted during COMEDK counselling document verification?
Ans: Yes. Generally, top private engineering colleges and COMEDK counselling accept a CBSE overall pass marksheet along with an NIOS single-subject Chemistry pass marksheet, provided Chemistry is passed, and you meet eligibility. Still, final acceptance depends on COMEDK/college verification rules. However, it is highly recommended that you carefully review the COMDEK brochure. If you have doubts about our clarification or reply, it would be better to visit the administrative office of any top engineering college in person and ask them directly without any hesitation to resolve your problems/doubts across the table instantly. With this, you will be free from stress that you hold in your mind. Now, focus more on COMDEK and try to score more. Best of luck to your bright future.

Good luck.

My daughter is in Maharashtra board in class 10th. Her performance is in top 3. In the mid-term exam, her performance dipped a bit and she got 91% (previously it was 94-95%). Since then her confidence has gone down a lot. She is afraid. Many questions bother her like whether she will study, whether she will remember the study done and because of this it becomes very difficult for her to concentrate in her studies. Kindly guide us how to target each subject and improve her performance in these two months to regain her lost confidence and perform well in board exam.
Ans: A small dip, like 91%, does not indicate a decline; it usually reflects stress or higher paper difficulty, and your daughter’s Consistent top-3 performance shows strong ability. First, help her rebuild confidence by normalizing this fluctuation, limiting comparisons, and focusing on daily effort rather than marks; short, achievable study targets and regular revision will reduce fear of forgetting. For subjects: Maths & Science daily practice, an error notebook, and weekly revision of formulas/derivations; Languages daily reading, writing practice, and revision of formats/grammar; Social Science chapter-wise summaries, timelines/maps, and frequent self-testing. Use a 2-month plan with weekly mock tests under exam conditions, analyze mistakes calmly, and include relaxation, proper sleep, and light exercise. Reassure her that consistency, not perfection, wins board confidence and will return as she sees steady improvement.

Most Imp: No doubt, Class 10 is an important milestone, but a child’s career does not end with its results. Often, excessive pressure in Class 10 drains students mentally and emotionally, and they struggle later in Class 12 while preparing for engineering or medical entrance exams. What truly matters is whether your child is studying regularly and consistently. Please avoid judging your child only by marks or percentiles; sustained effort, balance, and well-being are far more important for long-term success.

Best of luck to your daughter for her bright future.

Good luck.

Sir i have given 12th in 2025 and passed with 69% but not given jee exam in 2025 and not in 2026 also But i want iit anyhow sir is this possible that i give 12th in 2027 and cleared 75 criteria then give jee mains and also i am eligible for jee advanced
Ans: You have already appeared for and passed the Class 12 examination in 2025. As per the eligibility criteria, only two consecutive attempts for JEE (Advanced) are permitted—the first in 2025 and the second in 2026. Therefore, you will not be eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) in 2027. Reappearing for Class 12 does not reset or extend JEE (Advanced) eligibility.

However, you can still achieve your goal of studying at an IIT through an alternative and well-established pathway. You may take admission to an undergraduate engineering program of your choice, appear for the GATE examination in your final year, and secure a qualifying score to gain admission to a postgraduate program at a top IIT.

This is a strong and viable route to IIT. At this stage, it would be advisable to move forward by enrolling in an engineering program rather than focusing again on Class 12, JEE Main, or JEE Advanced.

Good luck.
