Career
My Daughter is in 12th currently and has completed her 1st Jee attempt and has scored 78.82 she will be attending the 2nd attempt in April. I want her to do well in her CBSE boards and join a good college in Bangalore where we reside taking the subject of her choice. However she is bent upon taking a drop this year which we feel is not a good idea considering her 1st attempt scores. She says she is willing to join any college even after taking a drop and if she is not able to score well which I feel is wasting 1 years of her academics. Kindly advise or suggest what is right for her please.
Ans: Namaste
First of all I must appreciate your thought of not wasting 1 years through Gap/Drop. Its absolutely meaningless and even creates future bad consequences for abroad education or opportunity. We are not in a position to justify our gap. Anyhow you have mentioned her JEE 1st attempt result. It shows that either her study is moderate in PCM subjects or she can make her career in remaining 16 career clusters. If it was 95 and above in her 1st attempt, she could make more good in her 2nd JEE attempt.
It will be better if she thinks twice about her passion and abilities. It’s high time to think and take decision. She can take admission in other than IIT/NIT institutes. There are many good colleges in Banglore too.
Not every one become engineer. But everyone can see his/her inner strength, passion for something better required by world. We can work for betterment of the world, throgh what we have good amount with us. Please find that"Good One"

Career
My son is in class XI in commerce stream. He is interested in making career in Forensic accounting, investigation, security management. Recently I came across Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) offering such courses (undergraduate/post graduate). Please advice: i) What are the career options/opportunity, in private & Govt. sector, after doing the above courses? ii) Whether RRU has any name in the market (in terms of placements also)? iii) Since RRU offers BA/M.Com/BBA degrees which seems to be non-professional, what are the professional degrees/specializations that can be added after doing these courses? iii) Are there any other reputed universities offering such courses, like one I know is National Forensic science university)?
Ans: Namaste
Step by step we will work on your question:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in forensic accounting, accounting, finance or a related field is required for forensic accountants. Forensic accounting consists knowledge of Accounting & investigation. To work as Forensic accountant, candidate should complete professional courses like Certified Fraud Examiner. If the candidate has concrete professional degree like ICWAI, CA, CPA he will work smoothly with CFE certifications.
Rashtriya Raksha University is a public central university and an autonomous institute. It is created for covering subjects like national security. It is an Institution of National Importance, known for specialized education, research, and training in national security, cyber security, digital forensics etc.
Placement in RRU consists followings sectors:
1. Defense research
2. Cyber security firms
3. IT Companies
4. Police departments
5. Internal security
Institute like RRU in India:
1. DIAT pune
2. NLSUI Bangalore
3. TISS Mumbai

Career
I’m 50years. Ran a Pharma manufacturing business, unfortunately Covid was not kind to me and could not survive for too long & finally sold the factory & paid off the banks OD limit. Took a job with someone I knew in Modular Manufacturing as Vice President, but it seems this person will want to sell this company soon. Looking for senior level / management positions but difficult to get into the job scene at 50. Please suggest/guide.. I will treat my job as an entrepreneur more than an employee & am good at creating international export markets too (My highest level of education is M.E.P @ IIM Ahemdabad)
Ans: Namaste sir, considering your huge experience in pharma manufacturing, and running the business, you are ideally positioned to consulting business. Now at the age of 50 don’t ask job instead help new comers through crisis management, regulatory experience, and industry connections. You can leverage your experience as a consultant.(I am considering that you have a degree in the pharmaceutical field as its essential if you want to become a pharmaceutical consultant)
Even if you don’t have phrama degree you can offer consultancy from the business management point of view, where the biggest issue for every industry is effective client acquisition strategies through your past experience you can work smoothly
As you are saying that “I will treat my job as an entrepreneur more than an employee” so its now the time to treat yourself as Consultant and work as entrepreneur. lastly you can also efficiently guide for all those who need international market.
