After sitting home for a year found it very difficult, boaring and health loosing, again felt a strong desire in me to do some work, will prefer work from home or out, for 5-6 hrs, again enabling me to spend a health enjoyable and active life. Really feeling very difficult to find a job of my caliber and liking at this age in India. Pls advice

Hello Sir/Madam, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing this email to seek advice regarding an unresolved issue with my pending salary from my previous employer. Despite leaving the company in May 2023, I have yet to receive my due payments. I have sent numerous reminders through email, WhatsApp messages, and phone calls, and I have also met with them face-to-face twice. It has been a common practice at my previous company to delay the full and final settlement for employees who resign. Timely salary payments have also been an ongoing issue, often requiring follow-up calls every month. Furthermore, the company has not been providing facilities for deducting PF, gratuity, or other employee benefits, which is a total exploitation of employees. Although the company began opening PF accounts last year following government regulations, the overall compliance remains insufficient. Given the company’s established presence in the IT industry for over 30 years and its workforce of more than 100 employees, it is disheartening to experience such treatment. I have served the company for more than 17 years, but they have never paid my salary on time, even though the company is financially sound. Sir looks like you did not understood ETM/ETE when you answered me it depends on individual choice. ETM--> Electronics and Telematics (This is generally called ETM from counseling point of view, but its same as ETE.) ETE--> Electronics and Telematics Engineering. Still you confirm EEE is better or you would like to revise your question?

Ans: EEE is still better than ETE. I have already told the reason. Another reason is that you cannot give GATE on ETE, but you can do so on EEE. Final decision is upto you

But Sir why would one write GATE for EEE, when one can write Gate for ECE which is almost same as ETE (Electronics and Telematics Engineering). The student who studied ETE is nearly equal to studying ECE right? Even student can write GATE CSE.

She should appear for (minimum) 5-7 Entrance Exams to get admission into any one of the Engineering Colleges in India. Some of them are:

1) JEE
2) COMEDK (Karnataka Colleges)

5) AEEE (Amrita College)
6) VITEE (VIT College)
7) BITSAT (for Birla Institute of Technology)

Why you are so biased to CSE and suggesting students to choose CSE engineering, students should pursue their career based on their interest and what will happen if all the students are opting for CSE, other branch students will have less intake eventually leads to closing of the department and I know that job opportunities after CSE are better with high pay other any branchs like ECE, EEE, Civil and Mech, Govt should provide job opportunities for core engineering graduates and make an minimum salary level to the IT field and India is a developing country which needs to excell in all fields, not only in IT, we should develop our country by infrastructure, manufacturing, research and development in all fields like processor, micro controller etc., so conclusion is choose the career based on your interest and future goals and developing our country.

Ans: I am suggesting CSE as per my knowledge and experience. It is up to them whether they will take my suggestion or not. I am only trying to help them. This is not a platform for argument. You make a strong point. Choosing a career based on personal interests and future goals is crucial, and diversity in engineering fields is essential for balanced national development. While CSE offers high-paying opportunities, other branches like ECE, EEE, Civil, and Mechanical also play vital roles in infrastructure, manufacturing, and research, which are crucial for a developing country like India. Encouraging a diverse range of engineering disciplines and providing support for core engineering graduates can help ensure balanced growth across various sectors.

how is CSBS different than CSE?

Hello Sir, My son got BIotechnology in DTU and EE in IPU. Although his interesr was IT he didnt make it due to rank. Can you suggest what he can do. He is making uo his mind to do biotechnology with additional coding so he can appear for the examinations which happen at the time of placement. As a parent i am really confused. Please help

Ans: IT is not only coding. So biotechnology with additional coding will not help. He should take proper preparation for the entrance examination if he is really interested in IT. Then reappear.
