Now I decided to do data science or any company work related course for my better carrier for remaining work period. so, my question is, can i get a better job in any company in this age, and also please inform me which course is better to me for my remaining future. As you are already 53 and would be reaching superannuation in a few years, it is advisable to stick to the same company. If you want to change, you must look to upgrade your skills in AI and Data Science. These are the 2 skills which would be in high demand in the next 2 years and shift to a good company.

Ans: She can go for commerce or arts. Thorough both she can have good career as teacher. There is huge demand for good teachers. She should analyse as to why she didn't score well in 10th. Possibility that she didn't like science and/or maths. It is ok, every student has their own strengths & weaknesses. Also she can decide upon being College teacher by clearing applicable exams after graduation or if interested she can start her own classes in future or join reputed coaching institutes.

I am giving neet exam next yr in 2024. I don't like to study a lot but manage to score marks in bio. In chem and physics my marks are average. Whenever I try to sit for study I cant study more than 3 hrs a day and to score in neet you are required to study more than 4-5 hrs. Can anyone just guide me through this like how to make myself more disciplined towards studies and study pattern so I can get those marks next yr

Have you heard of the POMODORO technique? Search it and try following it, it will definitely help you in your studies.

Also, always sit & study on a table chair it helps in keeping up the study temperament. And while studying keep all the gadgets away they are the biggest distractions.

My son is doing in II BSc Physics (Hons) in Bangalore in a residential college. At the end of each semester he ends up with two backlogs. This time he has three backlogs and therefore he was not promoted to IIIrd of BSc. He feels very dejected since he says after putting efforts he is unable to clear whereas he is of the view that his classmate with low efficiency than him has cleared the exams. I was having hope that after his third BSC he may pursue in some foreign university. The hopes are being dashed for both of us as a father as well as my son. In the process he will be losing one year. Please guide whether he will be treated as the same candidate as BSC Physics after fourth year if he wants to pursue his MSc Physics or related subject to get admission in India as well as in some foreign university.

Ans: You might not want to hear this.

However, I'm going to tell you this. Maybe physics BSc / MSc. is not the right career choice for your son.

I would strongly suggest you to sit with him and understand what excites him and what does not. Why is this problem recurring and you might come to realise that he never wanted to do the current course in the first place

There may be a better opportunity. There may be a different career path for him

My suggestion right now is that since the current BSc physics honours is not really working out for him, you should not choose to pursue MSC physics

The problem would be same whether you try to pursue it in India or abroad

My son is in 10th IGCSE and he is little bit confused about his future studies. He is an average student and wants to pursue NEET, however it is tough for International board student to pursue NEET. Sir, as a father I need guidance as to how to go about for his future studies as I am little bit confused now. I need some career counselling for his future studies as I don't want to put too much pressure on him so that he can pursue what he likes the most.

Ans: Sir,
I would like to differ that NEET will be challenging for IGCSE board students. If you feel so, you can change the board to CBSE after the 10th in 11-12th wherein they will follow the NCERT curriculum, which will help in NEET too.

Now coming to the point that he is an average student, it doesn't matter sir. NEET does not test boards they need only 60% of boards and PCB to be safe. As you said he is interested in pursuing NEET so there won't be any pressure for him as he will be following his choice and passion.

If you further want to be sure then you can check in your city for DMIT.

Ans: CA requires full time studies. So with CA, BCOM from distance learning course or from such is preferred where attendance is not an issue for CA students. BCOM is just for backup in case student doesn't clear CA. After graduation, he can think of MBA if he is not doing CA. MBA after CA maybe if willing at that time.

Ans: While CMA can certainly be beneficial for a career in finance, it primarily emphasizes management accounting rather than broader financial analysis or investment management.

Trying for CMA with an MBA (Finance) can be a good option.

I didn't really get the Online MBA though Chandigarh University. If it is through CU, where NMIMS come in picture? Online MBA through CU maybe questionable. NMIMS is a bigger name in MBA and hence more reputable!

Other alternative options to be pursued may be Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or even Master's in Finance (MFin)

did b.tech in 2004-2008. but faced recession in 2008. did business from that time onwards which collapsed in corona wave and incurred heavy losses. thinking of getting job. what would you suggest , how can i go ahead to get career and life back on track to meet end meet?

First step would be to identify which field do you want to build you career in. Data Science is a field where beginners can enter easily and there are multiple program available online which can help you build a career in Data Science. My Son is in Std 12th and is pursuing PCMC and aspired to appear JEE along with SAT, CET. Now he says that he will not pursue JEE and will be interested to appear CET & SAT...he seems to be without any aim ...When asked abt his dream he is saying he is not sure or rather does not want to convey to parents. We put him in a school with is integrated and gives CBSE with JEE coaching. I would like you to suggest how can we bring out what he wants to do ..He is taking things very casually..whenever he studies he keeps his headphone on and when asked he says that this is the he remembers things...He is not giving hajjis 100 % and always into an argument whenever we ask questions on his career/studies. He was in a hostel in his 11th and now not even interested to go back there but at home he is not even focused. As parents please advise us what need to be done and what will be best for him..He is intelligent and scores 80% but has a capability to get 95%

With parents child usually feels the fear of being judged & avoids sharing all things with them.

I was thinking for preparing for CAT exam, (Here is my profile - 81 in 10th , 73 in 12th, 48% in graduation(scored less due to medical condition), 69% in post grad. (Mcom) and 30 months of work experience in Pwc. My question is can i give cat exam as my graduation percentage is below 50 and i am an obc too. And if i cannot give cat exam what other options are availsble for me to do mba from tier 1 colleges which can give me better placements. It would be great if you would give some names for the colleges i should target for.

Hello mam, I appeared for NEET 2023 this was my third attempt but my marks are not enough to get a gov. Med college. Hence, I am thinking to take partial drop this time and appear for neet 2024,but I am confused about which stream to choose along with my neet preparation. I passed class 12 in 2021 with PCMB, but after 2021 I took a drop for neet hence my maths is not in practice right now. But as I had PCMB I thought that taking Btech in CSE as a safe option. What should I do and what should be the correct course to choose as I want to prepare again?

Ans: Hello Ashvi,
I have to answer it in a practical and realistic way.

There is nothing called a partial drop. Whatever course you enroll in will require some attention, time & energy. Which is very limited. As you have repeated NEET twice already you can understand it well. You cannot give equal time to both.

If you are serious and committed enough to give it all in the next NEET attempt and becoming a doctor is your only dream then only go for it. Else you can pursue it from abroad also. I can help you with that.

Else taking a B.tech course in C.S.E will be a good option.

"Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2023, are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2023." precisely it comes 3 attempts.
