which is better doing CSE in JSS Science and Technology University CMRIT Or BIT Bangalore

Ans: DeWe don't know if you are from South or North India , however as far as CSE courses at JSS Science & Tech and BIT Bangaluru is concerned , Info.. Technical Colleges do prefer colleges from South but the recent Recession i'n IT field has shrunk the salaries offered to freshers . BIT Bangaluru has also seen drop in salary offered to ther students . So Before takeing admission , Pl. think twice.

My son got 93.88 percentile in JEE Main and has 95539 ranks in 0BC NCL 31008 rank. Please suggest me that I can get admission in CSE and ECE branch in IIITs and good placement record and can also get admission in any government university.

Ans: Yuvanath Sir, You have not mentioned your son's Home State. Anyway, please note, with a CRL of 95,539 and an OBC-NCL rank of 31,008, admission to CSE in NITs and IIITs is very unlikely. However, ECE may be possible in newer IIITs and some GFTIs where OBC-NCL closing ranks are higher. Recent IIIT cutoffs indicate OBC-NCL CSE closing ranks at IIIT Kota, Nagpur, Pune, and Surat range between 8,000 and 12,000, while ECE closes around 11,000 to 16,000—both above your ranks.

For government universities, focus on newer IIITs, GFTIs, and state colleges through CSAB or JoSAA spot rounds.
To improve admission chances, prioritize branches like ECE, EEE, IT, Mechanical, and other lower-demand programs over CSE. It is also recommended to review JoSAA opening and closing ranks from the last 2-3 years to gain further insights and better understand current admission trends. My son ranked 4700 jee main 2026, home state west bengal. 99.71 percentile. Which nit , can he get cse ?

Ans: Based on your son's 99.71 percentile, he has a strong chance of becoming a good ranker in JEE Advanced as well. If he scores well there, IIT admission can be his first preference.

With a JEE Main All India Rank (AIR) around 4,700 and 99.71 percentile, your son can realistically target CSE in several NITs, especially under the West Bengal home-state quota. Typically, top NIT CSE closing ranks range between 1,500 and 5,000—for example, recent CSE closing ranks include NIT Trichy at 1,449, Surathkal at 1,827, Warangal at 2,409, Rourkela at 3,431, Calicut at 5,222, and MNNIT Allahabad at 4,594.

For West Bengal home-state candidates, NIT Durgapur CSE is a strong and realistic target, and your son may also secure ECE, EEE, or IT branches at other NITs depending on the round and seat availability.

Jee score is best of two attempts right? Sir seeing my ward score card has caused some confusion as tw of higher scores and one lower score( despite one higher score being available )is considered for computing final percentile.Can you please help resolve this

Ans: Yes, for JEE Main, the final result considers the better overall percentile from either of the two attempts, not a combination of the highest subject-wise percentiles from both.

So, if one attempt shows a higher total percentile but the scorecard reflects a lower one being used, it means the final merit is based on the best overall NTA percentile after normalization. The subject-wise percentiles are displayed separately for information but are not independently used to determine the final rank. So, best overall attempt counts, not best subject-wise combination. My child often feels the urge to poop after a meal. I have tried so many different ways to tell him to control it but he says he simply can't. Is it a healthy habit to poop after a meal? Pls advice what to do. It is embarassing when he does it at restaurants, sometimes in the middle of a meal. Why does it happen?

Ans: It depends on the age of the child
It is gastro colic reflex and reduces as age increases. If the stools are normal in consistency then nothing to worry. But if bulky, foul smelling then test for celiac disease
