I have been offered for the post of General Manager by a Global Construction Company, Before issuing the posting and joining letter ,the company asked me to submit the Management Certificates as PMP, MPM, Scrum, PgMP within two days along with my Qualification ,Experience and Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID card Photo ,Bank Pass Book, Crossed Cheque pay data of last served Department etc. Since I have no experience about Management related Subjects, as per the policy of said Company It is mandatory to submit the above noted Certificates before issuing the joining letter. They are saying to get these certificates from a tie up agency by paying INR50000, Should I pay them.?. Please suggest. What measures should I take before and after payment? What is the Guarantee and use of these certificates ,in case the company not permit me to join for the GM post.

My job is pensionable. I need your help in deciding whether I should take VRS or continue. My pension will be around 70 Thousand per month. In BSNL pay scales are not changed since 2017. I have already talk to my wife she has no objection I take VRS. We are planning to start tuition Centre. Kindly give some suggestion I will be highly Obliged.

1.As rightly some by you, kindly talk to your family, they are the best to guide you.

2. If your financial situation is good enough then you may want to take VRS. However please do calculation of amount you will get from VRS and the responsibilities that you have to discharge: kids education, kids marriage and your retirement needs.

Tution is a safe bet, but it might take you time to generate enough to take care of your expenses.

Please ask him to do online course. One from IIT Chennai in Data Science is good. Parallelly let him apply for jobs.

I have been asked to give spot resignation as my repoting manager has mailed that i am searching for better opportunity and forcefully taken my resignation and i was not allowed to serve any notice period. Should i need to pay to HR

Ans: Hello Madam,

Ideally you should have mentioned in the resignation letter that it's basis mutual discussion and agreement and that neither parties will recover any dues in lieu of notice period not served.

My suggestion would be write a polite yet firm.email to HR cc marking your manager clearly stating the details of the conversation along with date and people present. Atleast this will put things on record.
