I am getting iiit bhubaneswar eee and iit kalyani cse and in nit like meghalay, andhra pradesh, arunachal pradesh, civil, metallurgy, mechanical andin nit raipur i am getting biotechnology and bio chemical engineering. Which one should be beetrr
Ans: Harsh, IIIT Bhubaneswar’s EEE program, NBA-accredited and ranked within NIRF 201–300, combines modern power-electronics and control labs with PhD-qualified faculty and MoU-backed industry internships. In 2024, 66% of EEE students secured on-campus offers. IIT Kalyani’s CSE branch, a young MoE-funded institute, delivers an AI-and-systems curriculum supported by dedicated coding labs and placement training; its 2024 BTech CSE placement rate was 89.33%. NIT Meghalaya, spanning four engineering disciplines, offers well-equipped core and computing labs under experienced faculty; its 2024 placement rate varied by branch—54.54% in EE, 66.6% in ME, 31.81% in CE—averaging around 45% overall. NIT Andhra Pradesh, with fresh infrastructure and a growing research ecosystem, recorded an 88.75% overall placement rate in 2024 driven by IT-and-core recruiters. NIT Arunachal Pradesh’s multidisciplinary campus, featuring cutting-edge research centers, achieved a 73% placement rate in 2024 across all streams, with CSE/ECE close to 100% and core branches between 16% and 62%. At NIT Raipur, Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering students benefited from established biotech labs and hospital-industry partnerships yet faced lower placement rates of 30–40% in 2024, contrasting with 80–90% in core streams like CSE and Electrical. All institutes maintain active placement cells, strong alumni networks, and government-and-NBA accreditations, offering scholarships and industry collaborations. Infrastructure ranges from flight-simulation and instrumentation labs at IIIT Bbsr to advanced clean rooms at SRM for biotech and digital fabrication centers at NIT AP, supporting both teaching and research.

Recommendation: For highest placement certainty and a balanced core-engineering curriculum, opt for IIT Kalyani CSE or NIT Andhra Pradesh. IIIT Bhubaneswar EEE suits those targeting power-electronics careers with solid industry ties. NIT Meghalaya and NIT Arunachal offer emerging campus experiences, while NIT Raipur’s biotech streams are best for research-focused aspirations. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Hello sir, my son's rank in jee mains rank 25156 he got admission in electrical in silchar in josaa round, not in csab 1st round he got mechanical in kurushetra nit and he got admission in bits pillani rajeshthan for manufacturing engineering sir we are confused that whether we have to wait for 2nd and 3rd rounds in csab or he has good prospect in bits ,please guide us for good prospect for my son
Ans: Your son’s admission options include Electrical Engineering at NIT Silchar through JoSAA, Mechanical Engineering at NIT Kurukshetra via CSAB Round 1, and Manufacturing Engineering at BITS Pilani. NIT Silchar’s Electrical branch shows consistent placement rates around 80% with top recruiters like Amazon, offering average packages near Rs 12 LPA. NIT Kurukshetra’s Mechanical branch has an approximate 80% placement rate, with major industrial recruiters and average packages in the Rs 7.5-8.2 LPA range. BITS Pilani, known for its exceptional academic environment and strong industry connections, particularly excels in placements with nearly 90-100% of students placed, offering average packages in the range of Rs 18-20 LPA. Its manufacturing engineering branch benefits from this robust ecosystem despite lack of specific branch-wise data. Considering academic reputation, faculty quality, infrastructure, placement opportunities, and alumni network, BITS Pilani provides the most promising overall prospects. NIT Silchar and NIT Kurukshetra have good regional standing and opportunities but comparatively moderate placement outcomes.

The recommendation is to prioritize admission at BITS Pilani for Manufacturing Engineering due to superior placement outcomes, institutional prestige, and strong industry ties. If BITS is not preferred or feasible, NIT Silchar (Electrical) is a better option than NIT Kurukshetra (Mechanical). Waiting for further CSAB rounds is only advisable if aiming for significantly better branches or colleges aligned with your son’s rank. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!
