Sir my Daughter got 96.04 percentile in JEE Mains general category from Gujarat state and now she is going to give his JEE Advanced. She has already given GUJCET (79.9 percentile, CBSE board -90%), MHTCET (result awaited), AEEE (Rank 1547), MET (Manipal) with 162 marks out of 240 and going to give 2nd attempt, BITSAT first attempt 180 marks and going to give 2nd attempt. And going to give CUET as well. He has got a mail that from Manipal campus for the councelling based on JEE Mains score of which last date is 17th of May and seat allotment would on 18 th of May .They are asking to pay the first installment of 2, 90, 000 before 22 nd of May and final installment by 29th of May if selected in CS based on merit with counselling fees 10000 need to pay. My daughter wants to take CS .Sir my question is we are confused whether to keep or let go of this selection process in Manipal campus as Advanced results would come only in the first week of June and other results are awaited .Please Guide

Ans: Hello to be honest in all aspect
Being open category at this percentile in JEE main it would be extremely difficult to get CSE in a decent college through JOSAA or CSAB. CSE at IITs is highly competitive for open category. In advanced if she gets AIR under 13K then there is chance for CSE at IITs.
In BITS CSE closes around 235 Marks
Manipal can be a good choice. you can keep it as a backup option.
