मेरे पिता ने 1959 में 3500 रुपये में 5000 वर्ग फुट की एक जमीन खरीदी थी। उन्होंने 1967 में इस जमीन पर 30000 रुपये में 1500 वर्ग फुट का घर बनाया। 1986 में उनका निधन हो गया। स्वयं और मां मालिक बन गईं। 2011 में मां का निधन हो गया और मैं मालिक बन गईं। इमारत और जमीन एक साथ फ्लैट बनाने के लिए 2015 में एक बिल्डर को दी गई थी। समझौते के अनुसार मुझे 4 फ्लैट मिले हैं और निर्माण 27.11.2021 को पूरा हो गया और मुझे सौंप दिया गया। अब मैंने एक फ्लैट (चार में से) 18 लाख में बेच दिया है। मैं जानना चाहता हूं कि यह अल्पावधि पूंजीगत लाभ होगा या दीर्घकालिक? मैं संपत्ति में दोबारा निवेश नहीं करना चाहता और उचित राशि का कर चुकाना चाहता हूं। कृपया प्रक्रिया के बारे में मेरा मार्गदर्शन करें। क्या मुझे बैंक में एक अलग खाता खोलना होगा और कर चुकाने तक यह पैसा जमा करना होगा? धन्यवाद। एस गुहा.
