Dear Sir, I have taken admission in PES RR AIML via JEE Mains route but I wish to contest through the KEA KCET route as well. I am expecting that I will get either PES EC AIML or PES EC CSE in Round 2 in KEA KCET too. PES has given a deadline of surrendering the JEE Mains seat by 7th July. However, the catch is that I don't think the KEA Round 2 counselling will happen before that and unfortunately I cannot surrender the seat before Round 2 which will happen after 7th July. Based on your past experience, do you really think PES will really forfeit the first year fee of 5 lakh as they keep saying it is Management discretion whether to offer refund or not. Any guidance provided will be much appreciated. Thank you.

It would be better to speak in person with the admission committee for the latest updates. My daughter got 89.86 percentile in MHT CET. Any changes to get CSE in COEP, PICT, VJTI, SPIT in SC category. or Chemical Engg. in ICT. Actually, she is interested in Aerospace Engg. and Petrochemical Engg. but unfortunately, no colleges for these courses in Maharashtra

Dear Sir,
We are from Mumbai & fall in general category. My son has scored 99.1755006 percentile in MHTCET. He wants to study CSE for his BTech. What are the chances to get a seat in either VJTI or COEP or SPIT. In addition he has already secured a seat in VIT for CSE core in Chennai campus under Category 2. If we get seat in either of the above 3 colleges, should we prefer them over VIT. We are also participating in Josaa rounds but expect a little chance as JEE CRL was 63337 & Adance rank was 25656. He is also trying in Bitsat 2nd attempt. Kindly guide as we are getting confused. Also, please let me know if domicile certificate is mandatory to take admission in Maharashtra colleges as my son does not have it. However, I am having my domicile based on which my daughter took admussion for BArch in Mumbai college in 2019.

How is the Amrita University Amrita puri Campus compared to VIT Vellore. My daughter is getting ECE at VIT Vellore and Cs Cyber Security at Amrita puri campus. Which shall we prefer. We belong to New Delhi.

Sir I got cse at NIT jamshedpur in round 1 of josaa (99.45 % ile in mains and 18100 rank in advanced) . Should I take drop or proceed with nit jamshedpur CSE. I m very confused

There's no need for confusion, and please do not consider taking a drop. NIT Jamshedpur is a good option. With the mentioned advanced rank, it is not possible for you to get admission to IIT. However, NIT is also a good choice. Instead of taking a drop, utilize this year to learn AI, ML, and DS along with CS. It is suggested that you prefer CSE @ NIT Jamshedpur. The final choice will be yours.

Maths 86.2 percentile
Chemistry 80.3 percentile
And jee 72 percentile

Prefer CS @ Manipal. But you did not mention which Manipal, i.e., Jaipur or Bangalore? If you are a resident of M.S., then Walchand is also a good option. The college has been highly reputed for years, and IT is also a good branch. If distance and money do not matter to you, prefer CS @ Manipal.
