The %tile required differs from category to category. Ideally, the %tlle requirement is around 97-99 for top-tier colleges with specific requirements varying by category and institute. Ans: Government NITs have low tuition fees and offer scholarships for SC students (fees can be as low as ?10,000 - ?30,000 per year after waivers).
NIT Rourkela – B.Tech in Industrial Design (Robotics, Mechatronics-related)
NIT Kurukshetra – Mechatronics as a specialization in Mechanical Engineering
IIITs are also great for Robotics & AI, and they have lower fees for SC candidates.
