Our office has opened and I am travelling by public transport to work.
I am diabetic, have cholesterol and on medication for both.
I am doing sanitising and wearing mask. It is impossible to do social distancing.
I am the sole earner for my family and I don’t want to catch COVID.
How can I do to improve immunity?

Make your health a priority and you will enjoy the best of life.

Endangering your life by carelessly eating will create more problems and take away the happiness of enjoyment!

Set a list of your priorities and focus on a scheduled exercise regimen.

Drink plenty of water to remain hydrated.

Limit your drinks and avoid binge eating.

A healthy lifestyle, including a well-balanced diet and a fitness regimen is very essential.

Avoid unhealthy fried foods, sugary foods and high fat savouries which lower our immunity.

Stick to eating regular and fresh foods like vegetables, fruits and salads, which provide the fibre component essential for improving metabolism and gut health.

Cardio activities and strength training exercises will go a long way in building a healthy home and family.

When children grow in such an environment, they acquire similar habits, leading to a healthy generation.

Ans: Monsoon brings in certain diseases. And particularly if the, right kind of food is not taken in, then one is prone for certain diseases. So avoid heavy dinners, have early dinner before 6.30pm and have warm soup in the evening. Vit C rich citrus fruit like Sandra is good to improve the immunity

Immunity can be improved in many ways. Listing a few-
1) Doing regular yoga and especially some form of breathwork for 15 minutes can help a lot.
2) Having some vitamin supplements like for Vit D3, B12 etc but this please take guidance of your Dr and then start
3) A healthy diet consisting of fruits, nuts, seeds, salads, soups, green leafy vegetables, fresh juices made of amla, ash gourd etc can help
4) Meditation plays a huge role in reducing stress and hence increasing immunity
5) Having a good deep sleep
6) Regular exercises like walks, cardio can help you stay fit.
