I am 42 year old and facing very harassments by my boss he also warn me to termination ,i am mentality very disturb i am searching new job delicately from last 6 month but till now no success. tell me how to handle this situation

Dear Mayank SirI would like to keep my identity a secret.I am being sexually harassed at work. Once, my boss even kissed me in his cabin.I was trying to avoid being alone with him as much as possible. Then, because of COVID and work from home, things became better because we not in the same physical location. He tried different ways of troubling me during this time, but I managed.Now, office has opened and we have to go to work three days a week. I am finding it difficult to avoid him.I have been looking for another job but nothing is available.I need my job.What do I do? Please advise.Name withheld on request.

I am really concerned about your well-being and security.

Prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace is a legal requirement and you must immediately raise the issue with your top management.

Ideally, your company must have an internal complaints committee to handle such complaints.

In case your company is not supportive or does not have internal mechanisms, then you can take help of a lawyer or even the police.

Remember, as a society we need to confront people like your boss else they will be encouraged to harass more women in the future.

Take this head on. The law of the land completely supports you.

Leaving your job is not an option.

I am in a job in my current company since last 15 years now i am 43 years old, but recently i am very much mental disturbed by my boss approach, he is shouting to all the staffs and other persons too, but I can not tolerate him any more. Since you have been in the same company for 15 years , please speak with your boss in private and let him know that you are not very comfortable with his approach.If that is not working try and speak with your super boss . Meanwhile start searching for a job and start attending interviews aswell. It is much easier speaking to your boss when you have a backup offer in your hand.,

Requesting you not to panic at this early stage. Let her appear for JEE session 2 and the state-level engineering entrance test. Let all the results out. You have ample time to think about the available options for engineering admission. At this stage, no need to think about management quota unless and until you want a particular branch in a particular college. Depending on her score in upcoming exams, she may get admission to reputed engineering either in Pune or Bengaluru
