Hi, My legs get cramped and tingling and start hurting while walking. If I take a few minutes to rest, then I am able to walk. I did all the tests, and the reports were fine. I went to a neurologist and an orthopedic specialist, but my medicines are not working. This has been going on for the past 5 months. Can you please suggest what needs to be done and how to get rid of this problem? Thanks

Ans: Hello Anonymous,
Have you done your blood tests especially for Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B12?
Have you done any other tests for your legs like a Doppler test? Do you have varicose veins?
At times leg pain while walking can be caused due to spinal issues too. Have you done any examination of the lumbar spine like x-ray or MRI?

Madam, I am a senior citizen, 69 years old. My weight is 94 Kgs and I suffer from diabetes and am on medicine (Istamet). For last two years or so, I have a tingling sensation at the base of toes of both my feet. As a result, at times, I can not put my soles firmly on the ground resulting in loss of grip. Then I can not walk fast of limp slightly for some time. Things become better after I walk for some time. Please suggest what should I do for redressal.

Ans: This looks like you have Peripheral neuropathy, a consequence of badly regulated blood sugar. Kindly address this issue with your treating Physician for a smooth regulation of blood sugar. Also please check your weight and manage to maintain your weight closer to ideal weight. Have balanced nutrition and increase your phtsical activity

Please get your vit B12 levels checked and get and X-ray of your lumbar spine to understand if you have a degenerative issue at that level that’s affecting the nerves in your leg.

Can you please suggest further?

Ans: Hello Shrinivas,
Did you do the blood tests for Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B12?
Did you test your sugar levels via hba1c, electrolyte levels, cardiac enzymes?
Did you do the Doppler test?
If all this is normal then you could visit a physiotherapist. They will need to check your low back and leg muscles for trigger points and if any nerve impingement is there. Accordingly they can give you the treatment and you should get better.

I cleared my 12th this year. My exam didn't go too will because of health conditions. I gave addmission exam for Newton school of technology and Nxtwave institute of advanced technology. I cleared both but fees of Newton is too high even after scholarship. Therefore i chose NAIT affiliated with Vivekananda Global University in jaipur. Ultimately in CSE field skills matter more than any degree so is it a right decision? Please reply asap. My family is against sending me to other place to study but I am very much dedicated towards my career so I am fighting for it.

Drop the idea of Newton School of Technology. There is no harm in going with Vivekanand @ Jaipur. Focus on your studies and communicate closely with your parents about what you think.

Sir, JEE MAIN Score 97.44 & MH CET Score of 99.00 percentile, Open Category, Domicile Maharashtra, What are the chances of CSE in COEP, VJTI, SPIT, If not should we look forward for ENTC in the said institutes as such CSE is secured in MIT MANIPAL, CSE in LNMIIT Jaipur is also applied. You can expect admission to all the colleges you mentioned and to the preferred branch as well. If you still feel insecure, consider CSE at Manipal Jaipur. However, it is recommended to stay in M.S. either with COEP or its equivalent colleges.

Prefer either aeronautical or chemical engineering if possible. There are many branches other than CSE in which your son can pursue engineering. Young students are interested in AI, ML, DS, etc. Among the options mentioned, if possible, prefer NIT Bhopal.
