Hi, I am 39 years old. While walking for more than 5 minutes, cramp and sensation starts on both the legs. when i stop and take rest for 2 minutes, cramp and sensation go away. This is happening for past 3 months. My blood test report is normal. I went to neurologist. He suggested to take Tryptomer 10 at night for 1 month & Rejunex OD capsule in morning for 1 month. Can you please suggest further?

Ans: Hello Shrinivas,
Did you do the blood tests for Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B12?
Did you test your sugar levels via hba1c, electrolyte levels, cardiac enzymes?
Did you do the Doppler test?
If all this is normal then you could visit a physiotherapist. They will need to check your low back and leg muscles for trigger points and if any nerve impingement is there. Accordingly they can give you the treatment and you should get better.
All the best!

I am 72 year old, active, regularly go for walk and exercise regularly. I had my spine surgery 6 months back. I am doing better now except for getting cramps on my feet and leg at middle of night almost every day. I used to take evion lc for a month on doctors advice, which helped me for a while and started reoccurring again for the past 2 months. Please provide me some solution.
Ans: Dear Sir, Than you for your query. As I am a Physiotherapist, my advise would be from Physiotherapy perspective. Considering your history of spine surgery and the recurring cramps in your feet and legs, here are some physiotherapy strategies that might help.Start with stretching exercises before bed. For instance, you can try a calf stretch by standing facing a wall, placing your hands on the wall, and stepping one leg back while keeping the heel on the ground. Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds and then switch sides. You can also do a hamstring stretch by sitting on the edge of a chair with one leg extended straight out. Lean forward slightly while keeping your back straight until you feel a stretch in the back of your thigh, holding it for 20-30 seconds on each leg.

In addition, focus on ankle and foot mobility. Perform ankle circles while sitting or lying down by rotating your ankles for 20-30 seconds in each direction. You can also point and flex your toes slowly, holding each position for 5 seconds and repeating 10-15 times.Incorporate strengthening exercises like heel raises. Stand behind a chair for balance, slowly rise onto your toes, and then lower back down. Perform 2-3 sets of 10-15 reps. You can also do toe taps by sitting in a chair and lifting your toes while keeping your heels on the floor, repeating 15-20 times.Hydration and nutrition are key as well. Ensure you're well-hydrated throughout the day and consume a balanced diet rich in magnesium, potassium, and calcium to support muscle function. Applying a warm compress to your feet and legs before bed can help relax tight muscles, and elevating your feet slightly when lying down or using a pillow under your calves may improve circulation and reduce cramping. Lastly, it’s recommended to consult a physiotherapist for a personalized assessment. They can provide tailored exercise program and potentially offer manual therapy techniques that specifically address your condition.
These exercises and tips can help alleviate the night cramps, but a physiotherapist’s guidance is important for long-term relief. I wish you quick recovery.

Dear Naveenn Ji I am 61 yrs old-retired person. I had cardiac procedure with pacemaker 3 yrs back. I had one Medical insurance which was quite useful and was just sufficient at that time to meet expenses. Now I want to enhance the limit say from 10 lac to 20 lac which is not happening with the existing one. Can you suggest what best can be done and how for medical expenses
Ans: We will need to check with different health insurance companies and share your case history in detail. There are chances of getting a policy, but it depends on the underwriter’s assessment. Age, any other medical conditions, pre-existing diseases and the severity of the earlier cardiac issue all play a role.

Sometimes insurers give a counter-offer with a higher premium, a co-payment clause or a permanent exclusion for heart-related conditions while covering everything else.
We also need to check whether porting is possible or if a fresh policy is better.

One important point: please do not cancel your existing policy under any circumstance until a new cover is issued and active.

Alongside insurance, it is always wise to keep a reasonable emergency fund in liquid form such as fixed deposits or liquid mutual funds to handle any immediate medical requirement.

please feel free to ask any further questions you can connect us 044-31683550 if facing any problem

Candidates must also pass each of the following subjects in Class XII (or equivalent) to qualify for admission to the NIT+ System: o For B.E./B.Tech. programmes i. Physics ii. Any one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocation subject iii. Mathematics iv. A language (if the candidate has taken more than one language, then the language with the higher marks will be considered) v. Any subject other than the above four (the subject with the highest marks will be considered). Please Guide Me Sir
Ans: Your question is unclear because you have combined many queries into one. However, I will attempt to answer based on my understanding. Please do not mind; from the question, I can guess that you may be facing problems with the subjects, either in terms of understanding or from other aspects.

Your NIOS 2026 combination (Physics, Maths, English, Physical Education, and Biotechnology instead of Chemistry) complies with JoSAA Annexure 2(a)/(b) requirements, so you will be eligible for JoSAA counselling for BTech in IITs/NIT+ system, subject to passing all subjects and meeting the JEE Advanced and overall eligibility/percentile criteria. However, it is highly recommended to refer to the latest brochure published by NTA on the official website of JEE.

Good luck.
