When I walk more than 2 km or stand for long time (more than 1 hour) My both heels will get swell and also get pain in side thighs and back pain too. I use insoles too with my sports shoes during walk. I am 39 year Old male 5 feet 8 inches tall weighing around 94kg. Please help me.

Swelling is absolutely not normal. Please don’t wait for too long and show a nearby ortho and get this examined well

I have swelling on both my feet whenever I eat flour made chappatis, I take bp high tab - amplodipine 10 mg, had in the past sugar related problem too, eat no sugar, rare drink,yes I do sit and work but have gym at home and do regular work out, what is the problem because of what please advise? ! gratitude !

Ans: The Amlodipine may be responsible. Try changing your medication after consulting your physician. If the swelling does not go away after stopping Amlodipine, you need to get your liver functions, kidney functions, thyroid functions tested .

Swelling on feet .I have been walking bare feet in my new house which was having to much cement and dust.Could be that reason .or any thing else.kindly advise

Ans: Dear Mr. Anil. Thank you for your query. As a Physiotherapist, I would say walking barefoot on a rough, dusty surface with cement exposure can cause irritation, inflammation, or mild allergic reactions, leading to foot swelling. Prolonged standing or walking on hard surfaces without support may also contribute to strain and fluid retention. To reduce swelling, keep your feet elevated when sitting or lying down and apply a cold compress for 10-15 minutes, a few times a day. Gentle foot exercises like ankle rotations, toe flexion, and heel-toe raises can improve circulation and reduce stiffness. Wearing cushioned slippers or compression socks can provide support and prevent further irritation. Additionally, staying hydrated, reducing salt intake, and soaking your feet in warm water with Epsom salt may help alleviate discomfort. If swelling persists, worsens, or is accompanied by pain, redness, or warmth, consult a doctor to rule out infections or underlying conditions. I wish you quick recovery

Hello sir this is Nishat , I passed my 12th in the year 2023 with a good percentage but however I couldn’t see it for chemistry exam. So obviously I failed in that subject so I decided to again reappear for that exam and in 2024 I gave betterment exam from my state board in the subject biology and chemistry. However I scored far better in biology than last time but (Chemistry) I don’t know maybe it’s it’s because of the issues that we have with our board. I couldn’t score good marks so even I had decided to give (Chemistry) separately and so in 2024. I again set for (Chemistry) exam under nios I and I scored 80 so now the thing is that I’ll be having two mark sheet so while applying in need I cannot possibly select the code 2 because although I already have the state board certificate but the NIOS certificate is not yet out and it will be out by end of the March sir can I possibly select the code one that is appearing or will it create problems while counselling or is there any other option please help me out sir , I’m very desperate like I have prepared for neey for the last two years and I don’t want to put my hard work into vain. Please Sir help me out

Please select code 1 without any fear. Focus more on your study. But considering your fear and anxiety with the chemistry subject, it is recommended that you choose other options than NEET. This time you appear without any fear.
