Our salaries have been cut steeply since the lockdown.
Though we were to get our full salaries from the beginning of the year, that has not happened.
Expenses are high and it is difficult to manage.

Don’t panic! Scoring 80th percentile as an SC candidate still gives you chances for some lower-ranked NITs or GFTIs through later rounds. Focus on improving gradually instead of worrying about 90+, as even 85th percentile can open better doors for you. Keep all worries aside and focus only on studies right now. Let yourself appear for JEE 2026 and wait for the result. There is a lot of time in your hand for improvement.

Chances with NITs and IIITs are very slim. Keep hopes alive for lower-ranked GFTIs, and that too in spot rounds via CSAB. Keep another option ready as a backup.
