Hi. I graduated with an M.com degree in 2023 with the dream of always getting into corporate feild but finally ended up in the teaching feild ( college). Honestly, i always have this gut feeling that its not for me and what best fits me is a corporate. So I'm planning to switch my career to corporate after 1 year . What is your opinion?

Looking at your background and expertise, I would recommend that you consider a corporate job in a technology learning company like Byju’s or Vedantu. There are other such companies as well.

This will be a good blend of your passion for teaching and the perks of a corporate job.

Consider acquiring any relevant course/ certifications if needed
Consider potential impact on your salary if the new field has growth prospects which are aligning to your long term plans and has a potential to growth then you may consider taking the dip.
Reflect on your long term career goals. Ask yourself will the switch contribute to the overall career satisfaction?
Network with people who have made similar transitions. Understand Pros and Cons. Be prepared.
Consider your current level of job satisfaction in the current role. If you are constantly feeling dissatisfied then might be worth exploring newer options.
Keep an eye on the market trends

Tip to consider- job switch decision involves a balance between financial, personal satisfaction and fulfillment and long term goals.
Approach the decision with careful planning and knowing the pro's and con's
Keep the mitigation/ risk (if any) strategy in place

However, you should do extensive research on the curriculum, costs, pedagogical experience, alumni network, and placement opportunities track record ahead of choosing a particular program before making a commitment.
