Hello sir.. Mera class 12th main PCB tha but biology mai repeat aya hain aur english, physics, chemistry mai pass hu.. If mai biology NIOS se exam dungi toh kya mai NEET ke liye eligible ho jaungi?? Please answer

Ans: Hello Reyan
Yes, you can appear JEE (Main) without mathematics. But what is the sense in appearing JEE without mathematics in reality? No sense. It's just a waste of time and money. The government extracts money from the students by any means by changing the rules and motivating the students without any reason only for profit. You can say, vegetables without salt! If you are serious about JEE then at least study mathematics as an optional subject.

PCM (state board) + Nios biology ka admission hota hai lekin kya PCB (state board) + nios ka nahi hota hai I am ineligible according to Rediff guru . State board PCB marksheet ke pcb aggregate score ko improve karne ke liye nios single subject biology ki marksheet laga kar admission lena allowed hai kya according to NMC and MCC and any GMC ??? Your query is about whether you are eligible if you complete Biology through NIOS after having completed PCB through the state board.

Yes, it is possible. Regardless of whether you take the exam through NIOS or the state board, it is irrelevant since you will be making a second attempt. You need to achieve at least 50% in your marks. When you appear for the second attempt, you don't need to attend school; you can apply privately for the board exam. Instead of opting for the state board, you are choosing NIOS. That's all.

Based on your son's rank and domicile area, there are good chances for him to get into lower branches such as Civil Engineering, Metallurgy, or Production at NIT Trichy. He may also have opportunities for ECE/EEE at some northern/newer NITs.

Please note that the chances for ECE/EEE at institutions like NIT Calicut are slim, and NIT Warangal tends to have less competitive branches. It may also be challenging to secure these branches at NIT Jaipur or NIT Surathkal.

Therefore, it is important to prepare accordingly and participate in the counseling process to achieve your goals.

Ans: Explore good IIITs for CSE/ECE (such as IIIT Kota/Una/Nagpur/Trichy, depending on cutoff) or mid/lower NITs in core branches like ECE/EEE/Mechanical, while chances of getting into CSE at a top NIT seem very difficult.
