Have read some of your answers and I am appalled as to how biased you seem. To most daughters in law you have suggested basically to shut up and best abuse for ‘family peace’ whereas when a man complains of his wife being close to her mother you go like ‘oh what a woman’. Looking at your profile one expects you would teach your clients assertiveness, self respect and fairness.

My job is to give perspectives from both sides in any relationship which may seem like I side one over the other.
At times, I do catch men wanting undivided attention to what touches a chord with them especially when it involves menopause and again menopause isn't a woman issue, it's also about educating the men on how they can support their partners.
Another area where men want some alignment is making me believe their 'action' on stepping out of marriage is because of what their partner did or didn't do. Whether it's a man or a woman writing in. again my job is to give an impartial view without judgement.

It is unfortunate that you have chosen to see and believe what you feel; I cannot attempt to change that perception till you wish to. Until then, I do suggest that you can find it in your mind to look at the answers and find the balance within them. It might help you gauge the entire context better. Marriage can be broken in an instant and I firmly believe that if worked upon, it's possible to rebuild it and that will be my endeavour even at the cost of sounding or seeming partial. I hope this puts you at ease.

Do you all live together? If YES, maybe it's time to actually live separately where there is a healthy space between both families. This may not go well with a lot of families where joint family system have ruled for a long time BUT what's the point spoiling relationships and living under one roof. Of course, your husband also needs to be in alignment with this thought.
If not and this is not going to be possible, then do approach your side of the family to intervene...now, either things may get set right OR things may get worse. It's sad that your husband is unable to see your side of things.
One things I want to ask: What makes them feel that you are trying to steal their son? Is it some behavior of yours that they are misreading? Then it's possible to set things right if this can be identified...
