Good afternoon. I want to create of corpus of 2 crores in 10 years. Presently I have a corpus of 5 lakhs in these mutual funds where I invest monthly 12000/- as follows: Franklin India Smaller Companies Fund - 2000/- HDFC Mid-Cap Opportunities Fund - Regular Plan - 2000/- HDFC Small Cap Fund - Direct Growth Plan -2000/- Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund - Direct Plan - Growth -2000/- SBI Blue Chip Fund - Regular Plan Growth -4000/- Please suggest the changes to be made to reach my target. Thank you.

Ans: Hello , Girish. Based on your current portfolio, you appear to be an aggressive risk taker. I would advise you to reconsider your small cap funds in favour of better peer schemes. Additionally, you can increase your investment to 50k on a monthly sip in order to reach the target of Rs. 2 Cr in 10 years. You could also consider sip top up your current sips for semi-annually or yearly to achieve your goal

Ans: Hello Girish. Your portfolio report is in good shape. From your current 12k sips per month, I would suggest increasing it to 60-70k sips per month to achieve the corpus of 2 Cr in 10 years. A better peer group scheme should be considered instead of the Small cap category schemes i.e. Franklin and HDFC. For your future investment, you may include Multicap category in your portfolio.

Please advise changes in above portfolio if required.

I am 33 years old. Planned to get 1 crore corpus in next 15 years. Currently, I invested in below funds: 1. Nippon idia large cap direct growth - sip 2500 per month ( current value 1lakh) 2. Icici prodential technology direct plan growth - lumpsum 1 lakh (current value 1.30 l) 3. Icici prodential MN find - lumpsum 10k( current value 18k) 4. Icici mnc fund direct growth - lumpsum 20k (current value 20k) 5. Kotak nifty index fund direct growth - sip 1000 (current value 14k) Could you suggest what changes I need to do in current portfolio to achieve 2 crore corpus in next 15 years?

Ans: A monthly investment of Rs 16,500 is required to create a corpus of Rs 1 crore.

Below funds can be considered:

Parag Parikh Flexi-cap fund
Samco Flexi Cap Fund
HDFC Index Fund – Sensex plan
UTI Flexi cap Fund

I am 38 years old from Mumbai. I would like to build a corpus of Rs. 5 crore in the next 12 years. My current corpus has already grown to Rs. 30 lakh with the below ongoing MFs. 1. Axis Midcap Fund - 10,000 2. Kotak Equity Opportunities Fund - 10,000 3. PGIM India Felxicap Fund - 10,000 4. SBI Flexicap Fund - 15,000 5. UTI Flexicap Fund - 20,000 6. Nippon India Smallcap Fund - 5,000 Will the above help to achieve my goal or are any changes required?

Ans: Corpus of 30 lakh and SIP of 70,000 can create a corpus of 3.6 cr
