Canara Robeco Emerging Equities (G)-5000/- 4. Aditya Birla Flexi Cap fund (G)-5000/- 5. Parag Parikh Flexi Cap fund (G)-5000/- Kindly suggest whether these funds are good or I need to diversify. I am investing in HDFC Small Cap Mutual Fund since Sep 2019 and till date accumulated 35% gain on investment from SIP of 2500/month. When I bought this scheme it was 5 star rated but now it's degraded to 2 star. As per current scheme, if i continue more than 3 year the profits get lowered to 12-15% range. Consider the current gain, i would like to know the view: should i continue SIP or withdraw the total sum and invest the received money in some other higher rated and profit making small cap fund like Quant, BOI etc., with same amount of SIP. Kindly guide and also advise which fund to switch if switch is recommended. My view is long term return for kid’s higher education, who is 4 year old.

I am a working class man and have started SIP in following funds from the last 6 months. Can invest till my retirement i.e. for the next 23 years period. I am 43 years old. Currently I have a Mutual Fund Corpus of Rs 39 Lakh. My SIP Monthly Investments are as follows: 1) HDFC Midcap Opportunities Fund Direct Growth- Rs 10,000/- 2) HDFC Small Cap Direct Growth - Rs 5,000/- 3) L&T Emerging Business Fund Direct Growth - Rs 5,000/- 3) L&T MidCap Direct Growth - Rs 5,000/- 4) Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund Direct Growth - Rs 15,000/- 5) Mirae Asset SnP 500 ETF Fund of Fund - Rs 20,000/- 6) Tata Hybrid Equity Fund Growth - Rs 5,000/- Total Monthly SIP is Rs 70,000/- but of late the Mirae Asset SnP 500 SIP is on hold by them. My target is a corpus of Rs 10 crore on my retirement which would be at 60 years. Kindly advice if I need to increase my SIP or change any plans.

Aged 42, investing in following funds: 1. Aditya Birla Sun Life Equity Advantage fund - 14k 2. HDFC Mid Cap Opportunities Fund - Growth - 10k 3. Kotak emerging equity fund growth - 14k 4. L&T Mid cap fund growth - 14k All for last 5 years PGIM India global equity opportunities fund regular growth plan - 14k for last 2 years. Question 1: Would like to have a minimum 2cr, how much time will it take? Are these good funds to continue? If not, please suggest others.

Request you to please advise if i am on track to achieve this goal or do I need to change anything.
Ans: 40K SIP in 8 years can create a corpus of Rs. 70 lakh, therefore the investment needs to be increased of duration needs to be increased.

I am 48 years working professional and till now only invested in EPF & NPS. Considering that, I will be at least working for 10 years, now I am considering to invest in mutual funds for my retirement life. My immediate commitments (like children education / marriage / health, etc., during 10 years of working life ) towards family has been taken care of with provisions. I have sip per month since July 2021. 1. nippon sensex direct growth 5k 2. axis Small Cap fund direct growth 5k 3. PGIM Mid cap opportunities fund 5k 4. icici prudential technology fund for 70k which I've stopped the sip since I feel that sector fund are too risky. I'll invest for 12-13 years for my child education around 1 crore. And I also want to retire early and I hope to achieve 2-3 crore within 15 years. I also do put some extra lump sum money in those above three fund whenever I have extra cash but my investment per month in mutual fund is not more than 20k per month. What are your suggestions sir?
Ans: Three funds are sufficient, and with monthly investment of Rs. 20K corpus that can be created in 15 years is 1.2 cr, hence only one objective / goal can be met!

I am 41 years old. I have no portfolio as yet and I have loans of about 50 Lakh on my head along with Children education, Health Insurance and Other insurance premiums as my liabilities. I have 75000 going to HDFC Sanchay Plus plan which is my only investment. How can I build a SIP to get rid of my loans in next 5-7 years and build a sizeable corpus like 20 lakh at least without compromising with my current expenses? My Monthly Income is INR 1.70 lakh net.
