from balance Rs 5000 first buy a floater mediclaim for yourself and go for a pure term cover of at least 25 lacs

i believe after this still you can save Rs 2000 around per month , start a sip in an index fund

all your funds are good and it makes sense that you allocate your 35 lacs in current portfolio by way of systematic transfer.

for 35 lacs you can divide it in 1. Canara Robeco Blue chip equity fund
2. Canara robeco small cap fund.
3. ICICI Prudential bluechip fund.
4. Kotak emerging equity fund

but remember small and mid caps will deliver best reyruns in long term - for 5 to 6 years time frame you can invest but should have patience to see gains later.

So in Mutual Funds specially wherever you will see equity as a component, you will see that much part of the portfolio as RED or GREEN depending on equity market performance. But more te equity in the portfolio more is the possibility of good gains and vice versa. So All in all i can say when you are driving your car on the road you drive it with safety and not with the intention of meeting with an accident. So in mutual funds too risk is there in the form of equity to create possibility of better returns and fund house takes care as to not spoil the party by choosing wrong equity as they have their own set of rules to assess the stock selection.

Ans: Well I believe the logic behind 2 regimes is simple, there are a lot of people who sa e because of tax benefits and a lot of people who don't, so cater both, 2 regimes are needed.

Ans: Hi if you are giving him money by bank transfer and getting it back the same way, then it's loan given and loan repaid to you, entry gets closed. But in case there is some extra amount as interest received by you then only only interest is taxable

Ans: Hi Mr.Arun, yes it does. old regime had compulsion for saving along with tax saving.
But we need to teach the Millennials that saving and along with it Investing is important for future and its the only thing that can be helpful in future which will work when active income stops.

Now I believe with new regime each investment product will be bought by investors based on its merits. One who knows importance of investing will do it any how irrespective of tax benefit clause.

well for 12 years a good mid cap fund can be chosen from Axis Midcap Fund and Nippon India Growth Fund. While you can make it all midcap fund investment for 12 years my suggestion allocate a good amount to parag parikh flexi cap fund too. So for 12 years if you want to reach to 2 cr the assuming returns of around 12 % per annum you need to invest Rs 65000 per month of which 40000 can go in mid cap and 25000 in flexi cap.

now for your retirement corpus of 1.5 cr after 14 years you can easily choose only one large cap fund which is Mirae asset Large cap fund and One small cap fund like axis small cap fund or canara robeco small cap fund

You need to save Rs 37000 at assumed rate of 12% for 14 years o reach to your retirement goal. Amts can be RS 17000 in small cap and Rs 20000 in large cap fund.

expenditure on petrol, telephone, driver's salary etc. are given by employers to employees of certain ranks or cadre and its given as REIMBURSEMENT so income received as NET income by employee has no such amount hence this REIMBURSEMENT has nothing to do with New or old tax regime

Ans: Hi Prajwal , In case you are able to exhaust fully the deductions available under sec 80 C and 80 D , Home loan principal and home loan interest and NPS then old regime suits you more but if there is no such tax saving done by you then at your salary new regime is best
