Hello Sir, Please tell me in detail about "Hair Cut" in stock market and share trading. Whenever I sell my shares I lost over 20% sale proceeds in the form of "hair cut." Is there any way to avoid hair cut? Or is it a type of hidden brokerage charges?

Ans: Talk to students in the 2nd year of your college. They should guide you with respect to which area to focus on to build your career. You can also talk to the alumni. Check your college alumni directory and connect with your alumni in the industry you are interested. I am sure they would be glad to help. Also try and connect with your relatives and friends who are in the same industry to seek their guidance.

There is good weightage for the interview process that could help you surpass students who have scored higher marks than you in written test. When you are holding a portfolio of direct stocks, it is not possible that you will make profit in all of them.

As long as you are profitable at the portfolio level you should focus on reducing the losses and maximizing your gains.

Coming to Laurus Labs, I am not a chartist so won't be able to predict price movement but a basic research into the stock's financials and valuation does not give any comfort.

My view is, the earlier you exit it, the lesser will be your losses.

Ans: there are no stocks in the world which will give you 25% monthly returns. I am sorry but you need to keep your goal realistic.
if your goal is 25% monthly then I would suggest you to stay away from markets as you may end up putting your hard earned money in some ponzi scheme and loose it.
The real goal should be anything between 12-14% yearly and if you need that over a long term (10-15yrs) then plz buy a bluchip mutual fund.
