Want to gain my weight by 8 kg. Currently my weight is 57 kg. I am diabetic, but sugar level is under 110 mg/dl (fasting). I am 50 years old, have height 5' 5"

Ans: For gaining weight, focus on eating good quality protein foods like low fat dairy products, lean meat, eggs, nuts, legumes, pulses, etc. This will help gain lean mass and increase your stamina. Avoid eating high fat, high carbohydrate foods, alcohol, fast foods, etc. Regular eating habits with consistency in the diet and exercise regimen is the key to good health.
