I'm a parent of a B.Com BFSI student with 8 CGPA wanting to pursue Business Analytics or ACCA. Which course is better, and can he get a job in Banks/Insurance?

My second son is doing his B.com BFSI Final year from Sastra Thanjavur. He has a CGPA above 8 till his 4th semester. What he should pursue after his B.com. he has interest in Business Analytics and ACCA. Also whether he can look out for some jobs in Banks/Insurance. For Business Analytics what he should study. He is also keen in pursuing his studies in abroad. Please advise the course he can opt in foreign universities From V NARASIMHAN

Ans: It is natural for parents to be worried about the future of their children. Sastra is a good institute and he can connect with the placement office and get all the details of the post grad courses and job opportunities after BCom. For now my advice would be for him to work hard to improve his grades in the 3rd year to 10. And once he has inputs from his placement team he can write to me again for study abroad by identifying programs, and checking out the eligibility criterion.

Ans: Thanks for suggesting two options that your son is aiming for. Firstly, he should actively apply for placements in companies coming to campus placement. Similarly he should look for websites of companies that he wishes to join and make job applications for the Job Opening / Hiring tab. As a second step he needs to firm up his career goals before he decides to pursue a Post Graduate program

Ans: If he is interested in Business Analytics then doing BTech or similar graduation course in Analytics or Data Science looks like a right decision. Can then decide to do MBA based on his interests.

Hello sir my son has completed his bba From pp savani university surat, i am confused what to do after bba, he is preparing for cmat, cat exam, he is going on right path please suggest me what to do.

Ans: Encourage him to also prepare for other competitive exams that could get him a job in Banks, Insurance and Finance sector. Jobs usually take a long time to mature but will also be a good back up option as he attempts to do his MBA. More practice tests of a diverse kind he gives the better will he be at scoring in all of them.

my son has got 96.5 percentile in jee mains. He is preparing for advanced. However he is not very confident of getting a good rank this time and is considering to take. drop to prepare better. To lower cholesterol from a physiotherapy perspective, focus on a combination of aerobic exercise, strength training, and flexibility work. Engage in brisk walking, cycling, or jogging for at least 30–45 minutes daily to improve heart health and lipid metabolism. Incorporate strength training 2–3 times a week with bodyweight exercises or weights to enhance muscle mass and fat burning. Avoid prolonged sitting by standing up every 30–45 minutes and engaging your core while working to improve posture and circulation. A fiber-rich diet with whole grains, vegetables, nuts, and lean proteins supports cholesterol reduction while minimizing saturated fats and refined sugars. Managing stress through breathing exercises, yoga, or meditation helps regulate cortisol levels, which can impact cholesterol.
