I'm 42 year old BCom graduate from Hindi medium. I applied for a new job after 15 years for better salary and prospects. I have face-to-face interview with the boss but I am feeling scared and nervous. My English is weak, not so good. I want to prepare. How to do so? Help pls

Ans: Dear Sir/ Madam,

Please consider few aspects-
Research the company. Know their products and services
Go through the job description in detail
Know exactly what you have written in the resume.
Check google/ you tube and prepare on common questions
Practice with a friend or a family member or self practice looking at the mirror
Use simple language
Most important - during the conversation- maintain eye contact, sit up straight (back straight), show your confidence and have a pleasant smile on your face.
Have a list of questions you may want to ask the interviewer
Most importantly just be yourself and honest. It's ok if you don't know English. The interviewer has called you knowing this fact. Just show your expertise and give your best.

Hope this helps All the best
