I am currently working as a General Manager civil projects, Looking to change for the job but during interview its facing some difficulties like fluency in English. What is solution over it? I am technically very strong but due to this problem my confidence level getting down. Please suggest me.

Ans: Hello Ganpati,
While I understand that most interviews are conducted in English and fluency does help in getting good impression. However, unless job under consideration demands so, lack of it should not deeply hamper your chances if you are otherwise competent & able to present so in a different language.
In fact, most sensible interviewers do ask the language comfort of interviewee & even interviewee is free to express that upfront.
Having said that, since English happens to be the most common medium of communication at workplaces, a decent hold will certainly do no harm to your overall career prospects otherwise. Hence I suggest that you do not limit this to the interview rather make a concerted effort to improve your language skills in general. There are ample online/offline options available nowadays to groom such skills.

All the Best !

How to improve my English communication Fluency. I understand English but i Can't Speak, when i tried to Speak English i have faced lot's of Word Grammer, and thinking which word meaning come fast.
Ans: Hi Tapash,

Thank you for writing in.

Few Tips to get started.

Reading -Read English texts out loud to improve your pronunciation and rhythm. This exercise will also help you become more comfortable with the language.

Think in English: Most often we think in our native language and then we try to translate the same in English hence grammar mistakes tend to happen. Instead do the reverse try to think in English rather than translating from your native language. This practice will help you become more spontaneous and fluent in your communication.

Focus on Listening Comprehension: Improve your listening skills by regularly listening to English audio, such as podcasts, audiobooks, or TED Talks. Try to understand the main ideas and key points of what you're hearing. Listening is the first step to communication. This requires patience.

Build Your Vocabulary: Work on expanding your vocabulary by learning new words every day. Use vocabulary apps to help with memorization or open your oxford dictionary and learn new three minimum words. This way your vocabulary will increase and get better. This will avoid you from falling short of words.

Learn and Use Idioms and Phrases: English is rich in idioms and phrases. Learn common expressions and how to use them appropriately in different contexts to sound more natural and fluent.

Practice Speaking Regularly: Find opportunities to speak in English regularly. This could be with native English speakers, or even with yourself in front of a mirror. Practicing speaking aloud helps build your confidence and fluency.

Surround yourself with the language as much as possible. Watch English movies, TV shows, and videos, listen to English podcasts, and try to read books, articles, or news in English. Immersing yourself in the language will help you familiarize yourself with its nuances and vocabulary.

Opt for Professional help- You can also look at professionals who can help you with their courses. There are many experts around. If you are comfortable investing money on such courses then I recommend you do so.

Learning any new language including English requires practice and efforts. Requires consistent practice and exposure to the language. Accept that you are in the learning phase and you will get better with efforts.

Hope this helps. All the best
