I have been jobless precisely for last 27 months from Oct 2022. I have been a supply chain professionals with almost 20 years of experience in Supply chain . I lost my job due to lay off and till date trying my utmost best to get a good job but unable to find one. Now i am 46 and in current times no consultancies are calling me and day by day my chances of getting jobs are looking very bleak. Tremendously frustrated and puts impact on my health as well as my family. Will it be my end of career. Or still there is a chance to bounce back

You can approach some good executive search companies such as Michael Page, Korn Ferry, Spencer Stuart. These companies specialize in senior level targeted job placements.
With gap in service it does get bit challenging to get a suitable opening hence you might need to compromise in position & pay levels for reentering the job market.
You may also look to simultaneously reskill/upskill yourself with some good courses in your domain of Supply Chain that may further boost your chances.

Cheer up you have 15 yrs of experience and that's a wealth any organization would love to have, however I see you haven't been able to get a suitable placement till now, well 46 is surely not retirement age, so step 1 Retook at your resume, today resumes not more than 2 pages, include key result areas, profit zones that helped your organization.. In the meanwhile having done all this, search for organisation's in your area of activity, send you redeveloped resume.. Also look for consultant roles in related organisation's.. Kolkatta is a City of Joy.. Sure you will be successful!

Ans: From his CGPA I am understanding that he was never interested in CS. He should take other subject/line based on his interest. I cannot suggest anything as i donot know his area of interest.

If you are serious about your career which you should be, try doing following when you sit for studies:-
1. Switch off or put your phone on airplane mode & lock it in some place not close to you
2. Check phone only during your planned breaks
3. You can even look at doing something drastic, as blocking yourself from social media sites/deleting such apps till you clear exam milestones etc.
Above simple steps done religiously make a significant impact in getting concentration/focus.

How can I deal with the performance anxiety and stress of not cracking an interview?

Interview anxiety is not uncommon & most face that.
Do practice/mock interviews with professionals (there are lot of them nowadays).
The only way to gain confidence is to PRACTICE.
Also do bit of introspection in terms of what gets you anxiety - subject knowledge/communication skills/public speaking?
Once you identify, put focused effort to improve that particular area.

Ans: No Capital gain will be applicable if the plot is purchased with the view for construction of house for residential purposes on the same as per the time limits allowed Under section 54, else you have to pay Long term capital gain.

Ans: Yes you have to pay tax on Short term capital gain, being special tax rate income is not covered in rebate U/s 87A.

Hi, I am 33 and a new mom. I have been earning 1.9 lakhs in hand per month till now. But I have an extremely toxic manager and there has been a recession in the education sector. Can I take a break and look for some other field? Will my decision affect me severely? I am currently doing PMI and hopefully will sit for the exam by Jan end. Do I have any prospect? Should I continue working in the toxic culture?

Ans: Hello
You have mentioned 'extremely toxic' hence it becomes imperative for you to move out at the earliest.
Ideally it is good to have something in hand but if it is taking longer than taking a break for focused effort towards alternative options is not a bad idea.
But do that with proper planning in terms of direction you wish to take, finances etc. & you will for sure find something meaningful.
Continue to deal with real bad work environment is certainly not advisable.
