My age is 45+ In May 2023 I suddenly lost my job due to layoff in my previous company .I am having around 15 years of work experience in logistics but till date I have not been able to find a job. Is age a factor?Is the logistics job market very dull at this moment? I am applying daily to job opening which are coming but nothing is getting materialized. Can you guide me.

May I suggest you explore all companies which are offering services in and around logistics industry.... courier transport, e-commerce, delivery...

Cheer up you have 15 yrs of experience and that's a wealth any organization would love to have, however I see you haven't been able to get a suitable placement till now, well 46 is surely not retirement age, so step 1 Retook at your resume, today resumes not more than 2 pages, include key result areas, profit zones that helped your organization.. In the meanwhile having done all this, search for organisation's in your area of activity, send you redeveloped resume.. Also look for consultant roles in related organisation's.. Sir I am studying mechanical engineering at bvb hubli but I want to join mit usa for mechanical engineering.i took loan for my studies ...should I study for engineering and asat for mit or only concentrate on engineering...please help me sir , because my family financially very poor I don't want my parents to struggle for my wishes and goals....but I want to be a best mechanical engineering

Ans: MIT ( Boston) is having world ranking 1 and fees are very high and acceptance criteria is very very low. So drop this fantasy and try for other universities of USA. Now a days in 99% US universities there is no funding in the 1st semester. If your financial condition is very poor then drop the plan of MS from USA right now. Complete your Mechanical Engg, save substantial amount and then try. Even in India you can prove yourself as one of the best Mechanical Engineers. The formula for being the best is that if you are assigned 'X' amount of work just do slightly extra than 'X'. Best of luck. Just follow me. May God Bless You. Professor...............:)

While her wounds have healed, the scars are still very visible, and it’s starting to affect her confidence. She avoids wearing sleeveless clothes and feels conscious even around close family members. Can burn marks be fixed with cosmetic surgery? She is only 14 now. Will it completely remove the scars? Will it be a painful surgery?

Ans: Yes, the burn marks can be made better with cosmetic surgery. But we may not be able to get absolutely normal skin in most cases.
Only after a physical consultation, a proper comment can be made.

I have taken a group health insurance policy from a bank where I have a saving account five years ago without any medical checkup. I have not availed any claim and there was no preexisting disease. I am taking 5 mg of prednisolone daily for last five years for a skin disease. Will this affect my future claim if arises any? I am worried about this .

Insurance is an understanding that works on mutual trust.

You need to make appropriate disclosures before signing up and also before renewal, if you were diagnosed with any major illness/medical condition.

Please inform the insurance company about this before next renewal.

Dear Sir, i am 48 year old, kindly suggest some good plan to invest, i can invest roughly around 30000 for next 1 years with increase of 10% every year for next 7 years. I am looking for 1 crore to 3 crore saving. Till i reach 55 years, Would like to save for pension also suggest me good pension return plan

Ans: Hello;

An investment of 30 K with 10% top-up each year will be required to be continued for 10 years minimum to reach a corpus of 1 Cr(12% return considered from pure equity mutual funds).

You may invest in a combination of flexicap mutual fund and a Large and Midcap type mutual fund in proportion of 50:50.

For pension you may invest in NPS with active choice and maximum possible equity allocation. Contributions can continue upto 70 age.

Ans: HI Sakshi.
If you are financially sound, then you should prefer IICT Gandhinagar, which provides better career prospects and practical skills relevant to the field of Data Science than VIT Vellore. However, this does not mean that VIT is not a better choice. If VIT is nearer to your home town and easily accessible, then you may opt for it. But if distance, money are not issues., then preferably go with IICT Gandhinagar.

Nowadays payment for IPO allotment is through the process of ASBA(Application Supported by Blocked Amount) wherein funds needed to finance your IPO application are blocked.

If the funds are not enough the application will not go through.

Their no fine or penalty but it may affect your reputation with the bank/broker.

Hello Milind Sir, On the EPF portal, my bank account is my salary account. This account is a joint account with my younger brother. I am a male too. Will this joint account be a problem when I try to withdraw my EPF corpus? I heard only joint account with spouse is allowed for withdrawal apart from single holder account. Should I convert this joint account to a single holder account immediately now or do it after I resign/retire when I want to withdraw the EPF corpus?
