Hello everyone, I have done my graduation this year in B.SC BOTANY ...from previous 3 yrs. I have been giving NEET UG exam but couldn't crack it (this yr. I have scored 560 marks with 2lac rank)... currently I have mood swings and not able to focus in study. Sometime I am very agressive and thought of giving up and sometime I am very motivated...what are other career option I may opt and later earn a descent amount (1 lac-1.5lac). Also I am 22 yr old ..if I crack neet in 2025 ...should it be worth it studying mbbs for next 5 yr (approx.)...means ...is it too late

Ans: Hi
You have cracked the NEET my friend, but you could not get a seat due to the higher cutoff of govt college. Today MBBS has become a basic qualification, you have to go for specialisation as well. That will be another 3-4 years. Think of this as well and then decide.

I took 2 drops for neet but could not clear it .... I took admission in local college after 12th for bsc as my parents said your year won't be wasted ... Now I feel devasted .. very detached ..not knowing what to do next ... My parents are telling me to give one try and go to Kota for prep but I don't know what I want ..I fear everything and sometimes I want to peruse mbbs sometimes I don't .. I am currently thinking of doing SSC CGL as I took pcmb in 12th and secured 92% .. ..what should I aim?
Ans: HI
Simply taking a drop year for NEET will not provide a solution without proper preparation. Many young people are choosing courses, colleges, or coaching centers based on their friends' influences. After your first attempt, you may have analyzed NEET better the second time. If you are still facing the same issues on your third attempt, it suggests there's a deeper problem. It seems you're preparing for NEET without genuine interest.

To succeed in competitive exams, specific strategies are required. For instance, if you analyze previous exam patterns, you’ll often find that most answers tend to be either B or C. You'll notice that among four options, two answers are relevant while the other two are completely irrelevant. It’s crucial to analyze the syllabus and past question papers thoroughly. Everyone seeks answers, but few consider the reasoning behind them.

Additionally, I noticed you’ve enrolled in a B.Sc. degree; I'm unsure which major you have chosen. If you selected either chemistry or physics, it would be beneficial. By choosing chemistry as your major, you could take physics as an ancillary subject, and vice versa. You can cover both subjects during your college education, and if you have any doubts, you can clarify them with your professors. Completing biology studies at home is also advisable.

Whenever you plan to take competitive exams, dedicate your time solely to that without engaging in college activities. Avoid distractions at all costs. Recently, many parents have been facing these types of challenges with their children, and it takes time to adapt.

Finally, please listen to your parents' advice and minimize distractions. I have shared a few tips; please follow them.
BEST WISHES.

Hello sir I'm a neet aspirant and in my first attempt which was in 2025 i got very less marks 258/720 and a rank of 5lakh I'm preparing for neet 2026 and the thought of doing anything else other than mbbs haunts ne i cannot process the thought. Sometimes i get overwhelmed by everything my family situation and my health issues can you tell me something that i can do?
Ans: Hello dear

Our strong suggestion: Reconsider the idea of taking a drop and appearing NEET in 2026.

Yet, a few words to motivate you are as follows -
It's completely understandable to feel overwhelmed after a tough first attempt, especially when MBBS is your only dream. Scoring 258 and ranking around 5 lakh doesn't define your future. It just means your strategy or situation needs adjustment. Many NEET droppers go from low scores to top ranks with focused preparation, structured routines, and mental clarity. First, take a deep breath and acknowledge that one attempt doesn't define your capability. Reflect on what went wrong? Was it a lack of revision, test anxiety, health, or inconsistency? Build a practical daily schedule that balances study with rest, and prioritize your mental and physical well-being. For now, focus only on the next 2–3 chapters or weekly goals, not the entire syllabus or results. Consider joining a reliable dropper program (offline or online) with structured tests and mentorship. Stay connected with positive peers or mentors and talk to someone if it feels too heavy. Counseling helps. Your determination is clear, and with the right guidance and steady effort, a comeback is possible. You're not alone, and this phase can be your turning point.

Good luck.

Tech Careers and Skill Development Expert - Answered on Dec 05, 2025

Career
Dear Sir, I did my BTech from a normal engineering college not very famous. The teaching was not great and hence i did not study well. I tried my best to learn coding including all the technologies like html, css, javascript, react js,dba, php because i wanted to be a web developer But nothing seem to enter my head except html and css. I don't understand a language which has more complexities. Is it because of my lack of experience or not devoting enough time. I am not sure. I did many courses online and tried to do diplomas also abroad which i passed somehow. I recently joined android development course because i like apps but the teaching was so fast that i could not memorize anything. There was no time to even take notes down. During the course i did assignments and understood the code because i have to pass but after the course is over i tend to forget everything. I attempted a lot of interviews. Some of them i even got but could not perform well so they let me go. Now due to the AI booming and job markets in a bad shape i am re-thinking whether to keep studying or whether its just time waste. Since 3 years i am doing labour type of jobs which does not yield anything to me for survival and to pay my expenses. I have the quest to learn everything but as soon as i sit in front of the computer i listen to music or read something else. What should i do to stay more focused? What should i do to make myself believe confident. Is there still scope of IT in todays world? Kindly advise.
Ans: Your story does not show failure.
It shows persistence, effort, and desire to improve.

Most people give up.
You didn’t.
That means you will succeed — but with the right method, not the old one.

Dating, Relationships Expert - Answered on Dec 04, 2025

Relationship
My married ex still texts me for comfort. Because of him, I am unable to move on. He makes me feel guilty by saying he got married out of family pressure. His dad is a cardiac patient and mom is being treated for cancer. He comforts me by saying he will get separated soon and we will get married because he only loves me. We have been in a relationship for 14 years and despite everything we tried, his parents refused to accept me, so he chose to get married to someone who understands our situation. I don't know when he will separate from his wife. She knows about us too but she comes from a traditional family. She also confirmed there is no physical intimacy between them. I trust him, but is it worth losing my youth for him? Honestly, I am worried and very confused.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand how difficult it is to let go of a relationship you have built from scratch, but is it really how you want to continue? It really seems to be going nowhere. His parents are already in bad health and he married someone else for their happiness. Does it seem like he will be able to leave her? So many people’s happiness and lives depend on this one decision. I think it’s about time you and your BF have a clear conversation about the same. If he can’t give a proper timeline, please try to understand his situation. But also make sure he understands yours and maybe rethink this equation. It really isn’t healthy. You deserve a love you can have wholly, and not just in pieces, and in the shadows.

Hope this helps
