I’m an Architect by qualification, but never found my heart in it. Left it after four years of working in the field to pursue art, which I’m good and confident at. Currently working as an independent artist, doing client art commissions and exhibited my work at places. Still need a realistic view of the future, or steps to be successful.

Famous actor once said, I love theatre but acting in plays does not help me to pay my bills, so I do movies as well.

If ok with you why not pursue art as a part time...this way you can earn from Architect practise and also pursue art...also it may happen that you may start liking architect work as well...

Ans: I am sure there are opportunities in design in your construction firm as well, discuss with your manager/superiors to see if you can move into a design role. In case it does not work out, try looking for opportunities outside and you will find good options
