Sir, I am currently in 12th and have taken PCM. I am interested in NDA, but I am unable to have alternate options after 12th. Please suggest some alternate career options in case I am unable to get through NDA.

Ans: You are interested in NDA. You have NOT mentioned whether you have joined any Coaching Center for the same. Please note, the UPSC has officially announced the schedule for the NDA & also for Naval Academy Exam. Application will start from 11th December and last date is 31st December. The exam will be held on 13th April, & the courses will commence in January 2026. It is advisable to prepare well for the exam due to competition. Also, please do not rely only on 1 entrance exam and most students commit the mistakes of appearing for 1-2 exams and then struggling to get admission. It is advisable to appear minimum for 5 entrance exams to have multiple options to choose the most suitable one. Better to appear also in CUET exam and other Private Colleges Entrance Exams in your State. Have Plan B & Plan C. (ONLY) if affordable by your parents, you can even try for Management Quota Seat with any one of the reputed colleges in your State/Location for the Branch in which you are interested. All the BEST for Your Bright Future.
