प्रिय महोदय, मेरी माँ एक वरिष्ठ नागरिक हैं। उनकी आयु 85 वर्ष है। उनकी पेंशन और बचत पर ब्याज से आय कुल मिलाकर 5 लाख प्रति वर्ष से कम है। फॉर्म 15 एच जमा करने के बाद भी बैंक द्वारा वित्त वर्ष 2023-24 में 7275 का टीडीएस काटा गया और वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 में भी टीडीएस काटा जा रहा है। क्या वह टीडीएस की वापसी के लिए वित्त वर्ष 2023-24 के लिए अभी या 2024-25 के साथ रिटर्न दाखिल कर सकती हैं। और कैसे? कृपया सलाह दें।

Ans: वित्त वर्ष 2023-24 के लिए ITR (विलंबित रिटर्न) दाखिल करने की अंतिम तिथि 31.12.2024 थी, जिसे आगे बढ़ाकर 15.01.2025 कर दिया गया था। अब, आप TDS रिफंड का दावा करने के लिए विलंबित ITR दाखिल नहीं कर सकते।
आप अपडेटेड ITR दाखिल करने के भी पात्र नहीं हैं, क्योंकि आपके पास TDS रिफंड का दावा है।
हालांकि, अगले वर्ष (वित्त वर्ष 2024-25) के लिए आप समय पर (31.07.2025 तक) ITR दाखिल कर सकते हैं और अपने काटे गए TDS का रिफंड प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।
