मेरी बेटी 27 साल की है और पिछले 4.5 सालों से काम कर रही है। उसने 18 महीने तक Uber में काम किया और अब पिछले 38 महीनों से Apple में काम कर रही है। नौकरी अच्छी है, वह काम में अच्छी है और उसे अच्छा वेतन भी मिलता है। वह BCom इंटरनेशनल बिजनेस ग्रेजुएट है। अब वह 6 महीने बाद MBA करना चाहती है। 2 बार CAT देने के बाद भी उसके अच्छे अंक नहीं आए (वह अप्रशिक्षित है)। वह भारत, अमेरिका, यूरोप या सिंगापुर में MBA के लिए किसी अच्छे विश्वविद्यालय में कैसे प्रवेश पा सकती है? USA अंतिम विकल्प है। कृपया सुझाव दें सर, क्या वह बेहतर पेशेवर भविष्य के लिए MBA कर सकती है या अपनी नौकरी जारी रख सकती है? अगर उसे आगे पढ़ना है तो भविष्य के लिए कौन सी विशेषज्ञता बेहतर होगी?

Ans: CAT और GMAT दोनों दे सकते हैं। भारत में बहुत सारे शीर्ष कॉलेज हैं जो 5 साल से अधिक कार्य अनुभव वाले छात्रों के लिए कार्यकारी एमबीए पाठ्यक्रम संचालित करते हैं। इसलिए IIM A, B, C, ISB, XLRI, आदि में आवेदन कर सकते हैं। GMAT स्कोर का उपयोग करके आप INSEAD, LSB, आदि जैसे विदेशी कॉलेजों में आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

Greetings sir, I scored 78% in 10 and 75% in 12(Covid result). I pursued CA intermediate through direct entry route. Failed in January. I am 22 turning 23 in august Unemployed and failed attempt. What are the options i have to save my burning career.

Ans: Pursue your CA parallelly, but for having a tag of graduation immediately go for an online BBa for two years. At least you will be graduate after two years, otherwise your bio-data will be dead. If you can clear CA then it is very good, otherwise after BBA join some ordinary job and go for an online MBA. They are much cheaper than off line courses and you get ample time. I will recommend D Y Patil University, Pune. Best of luck. Professor..........:)

Dear Sir, I am 40 years old. I have a home loan with an outstanding amount of 98 lakhs, an EMI of 1.32 lakhs, and a remaining tenure of 102 months. I also have a personal loan with an outstanding amount of 11.3 lakhs, an EMI of 65,000, and a remaining tenure of 19 months. My current salary is 6.5 lakhs per month. I have investments in stocks and mutual funds worth 66 lakhs, gold worth 9 lakhs, fixed deposits worth 10 lakhs, and a PPF account worth 8 lakhs. Please advise whether I should make a prepayment towards my loans or continue with my EMIs and allow my investments to grow.

Ans: Hello;

You must definitely prepay your outstanding loans as much as possible.

With the current corpus you can repay personal loan entirely and more then 50% of the outstanding home loan.

You may reduce the EMI on home loan by keeping the tenure same.

This will ensure more investible surplus available for investments into MFs, NPS, PPF, Gold and Bank FDs for your financial goals.

Are you interested in college only? Engineering is not the branch of choice. First, decide in which field you want to build a career or what your parents have decided about your career. If you are inclined towards a job, then the course will be different; if you are more inclined to do business, the selection of the course will also differ. The options you mentioned are good. With a 23K rank in category 1 or 2, you may secure admission to core branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical easily or to some computer-related branches. However, if you are only interested in CSE, it may be somewhat difficult to gain entry with this rank in these colleges. You may need to compromise on the branch in these colleges if necessary.

Reasons: (1) You can attempt JEE Advanced only twice in two consecutive years, (2) You passed 12th in the year 2024, (3) You are eligible for JEE Advanced: 2024 and 2025 only, (4) Hence, not eligible in 2026
