She was waiting for a person like me and I met her first time after 2.5 years of her marriage. The girl, currently aged 22 years was married (at her 14 years of age as per document or at 12 years as per actual (child marriage)) and has one girl kid aged 5 years. She is not comfortable with her husband from the day of her marriage due to daily harassments, abusing her parents, siblings etc., and she is trying to take divorce from his husband (also her parents agreed her decision too). Her husband(aged 38 years) is reluctant to the divorce due to honour issues. I am unmarried and all my well wishers are keeping pressure to marry and are ready to find/fix matches, but I am already in a relation with that girl and ready to take care of her which my family or anybody doesn’t knows. What should be my and her move?
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
Your move should be to simply support the girl. It is highly possible that she is attracted to you more as a friend after going through a marriage at a young age and bearing a child as well.
She was looking out for a saviour and you happened to be at the scene. Let her breathe first from the shackles of a forced marriage before she jumps into another one with you. the emotional wounds from the first one must be allowed to heal before you pursue any relationship with her.
Kindly expect your side of the family to oppose this situation as they might not be in a position to understand the girl and what she has been through.
So, first...let all the legal matters get done and let her heal well from the past before she starts a new life. I don't know if you are patient enough for this and if she is emotionally mature to understand that you are not spurning her, but it is for her own good. Also, do know that you might expect unhappy family members; so be prepared to handle them as well.

All the best!

Hi Anu, I am 44 years old man and I have unsuccessful married life as my wife didn't like be in the relationship with me within 7 months of our marriage. We married in the year 2013 and she annulled me in the year 2014. She is hyper sentimental and egoistic. She only loves money and her parents. We had exchanged some words (just like it happens in every married life). I tried to make her understand that if she don't get a job I will support her so that she can get a job. But she didn't pay attention to my request. She filed Mat suite for divorce with false allegations and I have filed a restitution of conjugal right case . She lost her divorce case and I won the RCR case. But despite magistrate order and my request she didn't turn up and filed 498A, DV Act and 125 CrPC tagging most my relatives with false evidences two years back. I fought all cases and during this time I lost my father. However again she lost DV case and Supreme Court ordered lower court to discharge everyone if they do not found us guilty as we have sufficient proof. Her lawyer started taking tricks by requesting for short span for each hearing date. As my mother's health is not well and I leave in South India, it was difficult for me to attend every hearing date. So, I decided to give up and signed the divorce petition on mutual consent. I tried my best to bring her back, but I failed. Everyone is asking to start the life in new way, but I am really shocked and in trauma of the mental torture and harassment. I am thinking that is it good start the life again in this age ? Will the new life partner take similar steps to harass me again ? Please advice.
Ans: Dear Sanju,
I can only imagine the unrest that you must be feeling right now.
Regarding your question on mental torture and harassment; I do understand how unnerving it must be for you to wake up every morning and stare at the harsh reality of what it is for you. Nevertheless, beaten down but not yet given up is something you must always remember.
It is natural to think that history repeats itself; but you cannot assume that the next person you meet will be the same. Do not enter into a relationship or marriage with this assumption; what might tend to happen is that you will hold yourself back and your partner will always feel that you are being distant from them.

Do understand that the context of marriage is the same, but the persons in question are different. It's like saying: I failed in Math, so Math is a bad subject and I will always fail! Get a hang of what I am referring to?

Take some time off to heal and be at peace and remind yourself that you deserve happiness and marriage form of a beautiful relationship that can make you happy. For now, tell 'everyone' who is asking you to start a new life to give you space to reflect on:
- What can I do different in the next relationship that I pursue?
- What more can I do for my partner that I didn't in the previous marriage?
- What are a few core values of mine that I want to see in my partner as well?

And no use starting a new life by thinking if your new life partner will harass you as well. Instead step in telling yourself: New relationship, new person, new thoughts, new life goals, new...The word NEW, should give your brain something NEW to chew on discarding the old.

All the best!

Hi Anu, I’m 45 male and my wife is 44, we have been separated due to opinion difference through court she filed three cases on me , after that she with draw all cases by taking Alumni, since two years I have been wishing her on her birthday, recently two months back I wished on her birth we have small conversation asked about ourselves , like did I get married to other women or did she got married to other man. After that conversation she started talking , daily we chat looking at this I put a proposal saying that if she is willing to come back and start our life she is open for it. But she says she does not have any intension of getting married to any one she want to stay alone for life long. Sometimes she shows so much love and affection caring sometimes she completely ignore me as if am a stranger, I’m unable to judge her mood strings day by day my stress levels are going high could not control my emotions and anger I express it on any one. Please do suggest shall I be optimist and wait for some more years and its better to leave her on her own path.
Ans: Dear Prasanna,
For the time being, it appears that the separation is helping the two of you reconnect at a better level than when you stayed together.
It is a good thing as it will patch up wedges and also teach you both to appreciate one another and respect your differences.
I suggest that you let this be for a while now till it reaches a place where the two of you are cordial with one another and set aside the animosity and quell the ego. Then you can put your proposal forth to her of moving back together. She may want it or may prefer the status quo (like she has mentioned to you that she wants to stay alone). Either case, once a connection is filled with love that it is meant to, there not be a definite label or construct to that connection. So, wait for that suitable time to know where her mind is...till then enjoy the time together as a 'dating phase' and relish the moments.

All the best!

My wife aged 40 years left me after 20 years of marriage. We had one son aged 19 years also. She is citing mental torture by me as the main reason for her decision. She is never allowing to negotiate on the separation issue and is refusing to attend meetings with parents, elders, relationship counceller etc. She only tells that she had suffered a lot till now and will never stay with me in future. She insists for settlement of a house or equivalent money in cash and divorce. I insisted that the past disputes were minor in nature and not sufficient ground for divorce/separation and assured that I will be more careful in future and will never make her sad. Still she is reluctant and avoids any thing that brings reunion possible. She is not having any crush on another person but intends to live a solitude life. She found a job and is living independently without my son. Pl guide me what to do TSR
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
It seems clear that your wife does not want a reconciliation. If that is the case, it's better to engage a lawyer that can clearly state the terms of divorce settlement. If mutual consent does not work, this might not be very amicable...hence the lawyer drawing up the terms is a wise option.
I understand that you might want to give the marriage another chance, but if she is unwilling, what can you do? Try and request her for one conversation and express your desire to reconcile...but if she is firm...don't push the agony anymore...find a capable lawyer who knows how to draft a clear agreement of what you want to retain and what is fair for her. Also, if she isn't taking care of the child, then it becomes evident that you are responsible solely for him.
Think quickly and wisely and do the right thing...

All the best!

I worked for a private PMC company with appointment letter later after four months they were unable to pay salary and assured us by mails and what's up messages that, they are having some financial problems and requested to continue and pending salaries would be released soon and later stopped taking calls, We have resigned but they have not settled our account and now again become active. What action can be taken.
Ans: It's unfortunate that you're facing this situation with your former employer. Gather all relevant documentation related to your employment, including your appointment letter, emails, WhatsApp messages, and any other communication regarding salary payments and promises made by the company. Having a record of these interactions will be crucial for any potential legal action. Reach out to the company via email or written correspondence to remind them of the outstanding salary payments and request immediate settlement of your dues. Clearly outline the amount owed, the period for which you worked without compensation, and any promises or assurances made by the company regarding payment. If the company fails to respond or refuses to settle your dues, consider seeking legal advice from a labor lawyer or legal aid organization. They can assess your situation, advise you on your rights and options, and help you take appropriate legal action to recover your unpaid wages. Depending on the jurisdiction and labor laws in your area, you may have the option to file a formal complaint or grievance with the relevant labor department or regulatory authority. Provide them with all relevant documentation and information about your case, and they may investigate the matter and take action against the company if warranted. If you see other employees are also affected by unpaid wages or mistreatment by the company, then consider organizing collectively to amplify your voices and increase pressure on the company to resolve the issue. This could involve forming a group, sharing information and resources, and coordinating efforts to seek redress through legal channels or public advocacy. Throughout this process, it's important to protect your rights and avoid taking any actions that could jeopardize your legal standing or future claims against the company. Keep records of all communications, consult with legal experts, and be prepared to assert your rights if necessary. Stay informed about any developments related to the company, including changes in ownership, financial status, or legal proceedings. This information may affect your ability to recover unpaid wages or seek other forms of recourse.

Remember that recovering unpaid wages can be a complex and challenging process, but by taking proactive steps, seeking appropriate guidance, and advocating for your rights, you can increase your chances of obtaining a favorable outcome.

It's been a year since I completed my engineering in mechanical engineering. I am currently unemployed. I keep sending resume through LinkedIn, indeed, monster. I only get rejection replies. I have lost confidence in everything. What i specialised and has more interest is mechanical design and simulation, but majority companies prefer experienced candidates. For my other plans to work out i initially needed a job for money as well as for experience. It's very depressing and i am kind of letting go my dreams. I feel I am very incapable of even find a job after a course. What difference do I make with those who took a year off to clear remaining arrears.
Ans: It's understandable to feel frustrated and discouraged when facing challenges in your job search, especially when you're passionate about a specific field like mechanical design and simulation. However, it's essential to remember that setbacks are a natural part of the job search process, and they don't define your worth or capabilities. While gaining work experience may seem challenging at the moment, you can focus on enhancing your skills and knowledge in mechanical design and simulation. Consider enrolling in online courses, workshops, or certification programs related to CAD software, finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), or other relevant areas. Reach out to professionals working in mechanical design and simulation roles through LinkedIn or industry events. Request informational interviews to learn about their career paths, experiences, and insights into the industry. Building relationships with professionals in your field can lead to job opportunities, mentorship, and valuable advice for your career. Look for internships, co-op programs, or entry-level positions that offer opportunities to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design and simulation. While these roles may not always be advertised, reaching out to companies directly or through your network can help you uncover hidden opportunities and demonstrate your enthusiasm and commitment to the field.

Remember that finding a job after completing your engineering degree is a process that takes time and persistence. Stay committed to your aspirations, continue investing in your skills and knowledge, and remain open to new opportunities that come your way. With determination and perseverance, you can overcome obstacles and find success in your chosen field.

I want to purchase auto insurance for my Maruti Ertiga which I purchased two years ago. Which auto insurance policy will best look after my interests in the event of an accident which could lead to fatalities or lead me permanently disabled? I want to choose an auto insurance policy that will take care of hospitalisation as well as permanent disability.
Ans: In the unfortunate event of an accident with your Maruti Ertiga, a comprehensive car insurance policy will best serve your interests. Here's why:

Comprehensive Coverage:

• Third-party Liability: This is mandatory by law and covers any injuries or property damage caused to a third party due to an accident involving your car.
• Own Damage Cover: This protects your Maruti Ertiga from damages caused by accidents, theft, fire, natural calamities, etc.

Additional Coverage for Permanent Disability and Hospitalisation:

• Personal Accident (PA) Cover for Owner-Driver and Passengers: This add-on provides a lump sum payout in case of death or permanent disability due to an accident. You can extend this cover to include your passengers as well.
• Medical Expenses Cover: This add-on reimburses hospitalisation expenses incurred due to injuries sustained in an accident.

Here's what to consider when choosing an insurance provider:

• Claim Settlement Ratio (CSR): Look for insurers with a high CSR, which indicates a good record of settling claims promptly.
• Network Garages: Opt for an insurer with a wide network of cashless garages for repairs to ensure a hassle-free experience.
• Customer Service: Choose a company known for providing prompt and helpful customer service.

Popular Car Insurance Providers in India:

• Acko General Insurance
• HDFC Ergo
• The Oriental Insurance Company
• National Insurance Company
• Bajaj Allianz General Insurance

Researching and Comparing Policies

• Use online insurance aggregator websites to compare quotes from different providers. These websites allow you to input details about your Maruti Ertiga, your driving history, and desired coverage options. They will then provide you with quotes from various insurers, allowing you to compare prices and features.

Consulting a Financial Advisor

• Consider consulting a financial advisor who can help you assess your specific needs and recommend the most suitable car insurance policy for your Maruti Ertiga.
