Hello I want to invest 50k for a period of six months where I get atleast 20% returns. Can u suggest me a good short term stock or mutual fund TIA

Ans: nothing can be suggested in for short term in equities market.
for stocks and mutual funds please keep minimum 3 to 5 year horizon.

which mutual fund is best for short term 6 months to 1 year

Ans: Ideally you should not invest in Equity Funds for such a short time. You should look forward to investing only in Debt for a less than 1 year time frame. You can choose from the following to invest,
- HDFC Low Duration
- Invesco Arbitrage
- Edelweiss Equity Savings (if you want to take some risk)

Are NITs better than IITs? What about IIITs? What is the difference? What is the eligibility criteria to get into NITs? Can you please share some insights?

Ans: Old NITS are hundreds times better than new IITS.IIIT is a relatively new concept.Prefer good NITs.For NITs you need a decent percentile in JEE MAIN.
