H N Yajurvedi, I am 67 years, have diabetes (type II), and hypertension since 20 years. Both are under control due to medication, diet and exercise. However, my blood lipid profile is not normal. Though, total cholesterol is in normal range, TG is high (383 mg) and HDL is lower than normal range. Generally, drugs prescribed are for lowering cholesterol (stations), these drugs dd not lower my TG. Kindly suggest medicine for lowering TG.

Ans: Triglycerides are directly through your diet. Please consult a functional Nutritionist to have the most ideal diet for you and follow that regularly.
Have early dinner before 6.30 pm and avoid animal protein and fat for dinner
