Hello Sir, I am 39 years old, married and have 10 years old daughter. I work in a BPO (Risk and Compliance Department) since I was 23. Since I was not ambitious during my college days and till now I have no goals, no aim, no passion, the current job I find it very boring. I am stucked at an Analyst level since last 17 years. Also, with lot of family issues at my home, my mind does not work openly and have stucked in the comfort zone. I am a hard working person but not smart working. My wife is a housewife and have no other income other than my job. I want to grow, do lots of hard working but due to lack of self confidence, I always have a fear to get at TL or Manager level. Also, I am not sure which industry I have interest in. It is only since 17 years, I am doing this job, I tell everybody that I am from a BPO sector. But I really want to earn more so that I can fulfill my family needs but please help me in which direction I should go and Howww? I know at the age of 40, I cannot start working in a new sector with no prior experience but really is it too late to change the sector? and if no, Please suggest me any industry where I can start from scratch, learn new things and can work with great interest and can grow myself.

Ans: I find your first few sentences very negative. Please get a hold of yourself and regain your lost confidence. To start from scratch at this stage is not advisable but one can branch off into related fields about which you know the best. Change your attitude, think positive and the solutions will come to you! Other than this is really cannot suggest anything specific since the information given is inadequate.

Ans: Unfortunately, nobody can answer that question for you.. you have to find your own areas of expertise and interest and develop a business there. Start the business where there is minimum capital expenditure. Keep working till the proof of concept of your business is done and you truly believe that there is a future in the business you want to do.

Ans: One option is to do additional courses in area of Banking and Finance and look for growth in the same sector. If you are not interested in the industry you are working in then can look at doing courses in other areas in order to grow.

Do you like CA and CS first of all? This is the first question you have to ask yourself!

The next question I want to you ask yourself is, ‘am I scoring less marks because I have not studied / lack of interest or lack of understanding of concepts?’ Seek help if you really want to clear these exams!

Next question is ask yourself , “what comes naturally to me and I love doing it?”. It can be anything…. cooking, baking, teaching, accounting, handling customers in your dad’s office, taking care of office administration, etc, list out everything and then home down to one thing and start working on it with honesty of purpose, let that become your way to earning money!

And please sit and have a heart to heart chat with your parents!
If verbal communication is a problem, write a letter to them… I am giving you options, choose what is comfortable to you , but talk to your parents!

In state engineering colleges, you have a strong chance of securing CSE at highly reputable state-funded institutions via state counseling:
- UIET Chandigarh (Panjab University)
- GNDU (Guru Nanak Dev University) Amritsar
- PTU (IK Gujral Punjab Technical University)
For private colleges, consider:
- Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), Patiala
- Chitkara University (Rajpura/Chandigarh) with CSE programs, including specializations in AI and Machine Learning

First of all, the board will provide a specific time frame; they cannot start the practical exam immediately. At least a day or two should be given. If your hometown is near the college, you can proceed accordingly. Since you will be repeating the NEET exam, the NTA has also provided the schedule for the re-NEET exam.

As the youngest in your family, your presence may not be crucial, but there may be times when it is necessary. Therefore, consider going to your hometown to visit your grandpa, provided he is not in the ICU. If he is in the ICU, you will need to make your decision based on that situation.
