It's not you alone but so many youth falling for the enticement of cushy govt. job's which actually have so many applicants, too few opportunities. Finally left in the middle of no where!

Every year more graduates are churned out than Bhelpuris ...so now what , look into your degree speciality, what's your ability and aptitude.

The advice is to get a good not more than 2 page resume and send your resume to potential job opportunities that appeal to you!

Ans: Lack of thorough Research about the targeted Govt. Jobs is one of the reasons for most of the Govt. Job Seekers.

As you have done Civil Engineering, try to get an Entry-Level Civil Job, gain experience & if possible, keep upgrading your skills technical & managerial skills in Civil itself. Needs a lot of patience & efforts to get settled.

Or the alternative solution is, continue preparing for Govt. Jobs, but as I mentioned above, thorough Research / a 'Feasibility Study' on targeted Govt. Jobs is more important before start preparing for Govt. Jobs. Doing any (suitable) part-time job in this case will also help you financially & non-financially.
