Sir, I am 36 years old. I completed my BE in 2007 in electronics and telecommunications. But I couldn't get any job and with lot of difficulty I got a job as a clerk in private bank in 2012. Two months ago, I quit my job to give some time to my son. The management was also harassing me for canvassing third party products like insurance and accounts. And the working hours were too long. I couldn't bear it and decided to quit. I am at fault that I was too comfortable with the bank’s job and didn't learn anything new or get out of my comfort zone and try new things. Now, I have exited my job and am also at a higher age. I want to learn something which can be beneficial and maybe I can get opportunity to work after one year. I’m confused as to what to learn. Can you guide me? I live in a semi-urban area and in future also I would like to be here only. Can you also tell me about some home-based jobs to boost my income? 1. You can start your own business dealing with multi-level marketing.

2. You can consider a data processing/accounting role in a BPO.

3. Pursue a course in an area of your interest that can sharpen your competencies.

Sorry to note that You are repenting having worked for PSU Bank for around 10 yrs then for an IT company for 2 yrs. And now want to restart a good Career .. Pl. note no experience is small or useless provided you could use it . Now when you want to start a fresh , every where you have to say what you had been doing in those years . Pl. note there is nothing called Good Career whereas there is nothing called bad one . It all depends how you are going to take advantage and move ahead .

sir i am an accountant since 2006, MBA finance, now i feel that my skilled and growth has been stopped, please suggest me how to move further and gain knowledge and growth both.

Ans: Identify an area you want to move into and do relevant courses and look out for opening in that area in your organization or any other company. For example if you want to get into stock market analysis, can look at CFA course and simultaneously look for roles in that area. There are many other domains you can look out for like Wealth Management, Risk Analyst, etc.

it would be very difficult to get into NIT or IIIT or GFTI at this percentile.
