Patrick Dsouza is the founder of Patrick100.

Hi I need help. I am an Engineering MBA graduate having 5 years experience before MBA with education institute and then did my MBA & have 3.5 years of experience post MBA. I have worked in Sales Operation field. Have already done 3 job change and now again shifted in Education industry due to some structural change and Job insecurity in the last company. I would like to persue my career in the field of Operation but wouldn’t able to hit. What type of courses will help me do that ? I don’t want to see my career in education for longer period time. Can someone please guide me ?

I am 38 yrs old male canditate working in hospital sales and marketing team. I have done my MBA marketing from Pune university and have also studied hotel management . I have work experience of around 11-12 yrs in sales and marketing. I have worked in hotel as well hospital sales for the past 11-12 yrs. I am not able to get the desired remuneration from the work that i am doing. I am also having a feeling of lesser knowledge. I want to grow in my career. Hi i have always been struggling for a successful career .firstly i gave my 5 years for the preparation of IAS and other government exams but couldn't make it and the place i used to live was less in opportunity inspite of being masters in economics i was underpaid. I hold M.Tech (Biotech) degree and have worked in EdTech industry for about 4yrs before taking maternity. I'm not into any career since last 1.5yrs. However I would like to start my career into EdTech. Kindly suggeste some course/skills that I can take to foster my growth and opportunities. It's understood you have been out of circulation since 1.5 yrs.
In the course of your planned layoff, the Edtech has experienced a considerable shakeout,there have been unprecedented closures and manpower layoff's.

In those years AI has got into EDTECH space as well, so adding AI as a add on skill will certainly take you on par with other candidates, if not ahead!

Design a CV in not more than 2 pages highlighting your core result areas and what investing in your candidature will make it profitable to the incumbent organisation!

Ans: Top colleges
IIM Calcutta, IIFT Kolkata, IISWBM, IMI Kolkata
Among these IISWBM could have a lower fees as compared to the other 3. But IIM and IIFT are much better colleges.

Ans: Can do job in any field including Finance, HR, Marketing, etc. There is no restriction in which field a b pharm student can choose in his MBA studies.

Ans: If you are doing CSE then you may have job opportunities abroad. Also you may have to interact a lot with foreign clients. In that case not being conversant with english could create problem

Meri daughter Jaipuria institute of management se finance aur it mein MBA padh rahi hai vahan ka placement kaisa hai.

Ans: They do have some placements but it is not 100%. The average package out there would be Rs. 7 to 9 lpa. There may not be great finance placements and the finance jobs out there would be more marketing oriented.

Ans: Look at your interest and accordingly decide. The skill sets required for each of the courses is quite different. All three have decent opportunity of placements and would depend on the college you get in. If you are not sure about the field, then would recommend you to do MBA and decide on your specialization in the 2nd year where there are options of IT / Systems in some of the colleges.

Ans: Scholarships are available from various sources. but there may not be too many available to study in East Asian countries. Check consultancy companies that focus on East Asia. In some cases you can visit the consulate to get information about scholarships in those countries. Can also visit college websites, online scholarship databases, official study abroad pages.

Ans: Which engineering discipline is more preferred is a personal choice. However, here are the prospects for each. Semiconductor engineering is likely to see explosive growth in niche, high-tech manufacturing roles.

ECE remains a safe and versatile choice, with its broad applicability across industries such as telecom, electronics, automotive, and defence.

Hii sir ! This is ritika and I love a boy and we are in relationship since 7 years but there are some behavior of him he always have doubt on me that I am dating another boy he always says that start you screenshare in WhatsApp I even do because I don't want to lose him and he saw all of things of my phone yesterday he again asking for that and I do and there was a tab of instagram which was belongs to my roommate it was her I'd open in my chrome browser where she only wants to delete the I'd which she did from my phone these instagram thing happened approx one year ago but when he saw this I told him that was not mine but he continuously said I am cheater I cheated with him again he was like I know you have two mobile phones and you cheated with me. I love him soo much but he cannot try to accept that . Even I don't talk to my male classmate because he didn't want ki main kisi boy se baat karu Is it fair , am I cheater ? I love him unconditionally I support him in all his career or decision but again he was like I cheated with him we are in long distance relationship but I can't cheat him . Literally I am feeling depressed ????

Please understand that you did nothing wrong. Why would you even question yourself? You know you never cheated. It's his issue that he cannot trust. Yes, in a relationship we all try to comfort our partners but that too should be to a certain extent. And, in that process, if your mental health is being compromised, I don't see how it's a healthy relationship.

I don't want to tell you what to do, but I would reassure you that YOU DID NOTHING WRONG. You don't need to prove yourself anymore. And I can also assure you that no matter what you do, he will still manage to find some flaws and doubt you. It's a typical behavior we see in some partners. You deserve peace, love, and above all, to be trusted.
