Sir, I have done my class 12 in 2023 from cbse board in which I got 67 percentage and I gave my first attempt in 2023 and second attempt in 2024 . Now I am doing my class 12 with a new admission in (for session 2025) from nios board as I did not have good percentage in class 12. Can I am eligible for jee advanced

Ans: Welcome back.
It seems that every time you are worried only about JEE (Adv) and that too without clearing JEE (Main)!
Now you do:
(1) Attempt the 12th exam from the NIOS Board
(2) Score min 75% in the board exam.
(3) Appear JEE (Main) 2025
(4) Get cut-off marks/%tile to be qualified for JEE (adv)
(5) Appear for JEE (adv)
(6) Again score a high % tile to get admission to top IITs with the required branch in your mind.

In 1st query and follow-up, it is yet not clear about the words "second-year dropper" stated by you. You also did not mention, how many attempts you made for JEE (Mains) till now. When do you appear for the 1st time?

As already replied before, for JEE main or advance, you can be a student of any board. You are eligible for JEE (Adv) if and only if you are qualified in JEE (Mains) and have a score min 75% in the board examination. If you fulfill both these conditions, you can appear for JEE (Adv).

Hello sir , I have given my 12th boards in 2023 but did not give jee advanced in 2023 . I attempted hee advanced in 2024 . Am I still eligible to give Jee advanced in 2025 ?

Since you attempted JEE Advanced in 2024, you have one more attempt left, which you could use in 2025, provided you meet all other eligibility criteria (such as your age and the fact that you've completed Class 12 or equivalent in 2023)

Hi Sir, My son studied IGCSE and completed 10th standard. He is pursuing commerce stream. After 12th standard, we are looking for BBA or integrated MBA through IPMAT. My question is should i continue Cambridge A&AS Level or shift him to ICE or it fo not matter much. He is good in studies. Kindly advise.

Stay with Cambridge A & AS Level, but ensure he takes Mathematics. Focus on IPMAT entrance preparation alongside board studies. If needed, he can take additional practice from NCERT books for better alignment with IPMAT.

Congratulations on planning to get admission to IISC for your son. Admission is highly competitive, so early preparation will be beneficial. Here are some tips: (1) Strong Focus on the Core subject of Mathematics (2) Learn Python and SQL programming skills (3) Participate in Mathematics Olympiads (RMO, INMO) (4) Join a Coaching Program to learn ISI-specific training (like PiVerb, Cheenta). (5) Encourage solving puzzles and logic games (Sudoku, Chess, Codeforces). (6) In class 10- Build strong basics in ICSE Math, start Olympiad-level problems (7) In class 11 - Solve tough problems, focus on Calculus & Algebra, and start Python (8) In class 12 - take mock tests, solve past ISI papers, revise Probability.
Efforts are endless. One has to make efforts to master the skills from all angles as the DS field is highly challenging. Keep motivating him in any situation i.e. at the time of success or failure. Best of luck to him for his upcoming bright career.
