My daughter has completed M.Sc in biotechnology in 2021, she is pursuing Medical coding to get job with 40k at the begining in MN C. Is it correct decision to enter medical coding.

Ans: The decision made is based on certain parameters that you have already evaluated... I presume..!?

Now evaluating the pros and cons after taking up the course per se is.. Showing doubts about the opportunities offered by this career path.
I suggest she meets the placement counsellor of her college..!

Well Prima Facie ?40000 remuneration and that too an MNC is below par..!?

Reevaluate and understand what's right.. Course correct.. If needed!

My daughter is doing B.Sc in Microbiology in a Govt. College under Calcutta University. She is interested in Biology but is against Maths. She didn't want to study Engineering and medical and I haven't forced her. I would like to know, that after 4yrs of graduation would it be wise for her to go for M.Sc or MBA in hospital & healthcare management? Do you suggest any other streams? Which has better career opportunities? I am 51 now and would retire at 60. I want to see her established before my retirement. Kindly guide us.

Hlo, I was a Neet aspirant I gave neet after 12 th but scored very low, after I took drop and gave neet again but still I didn't score good enough. After that I have joined for BSC degree in life sciences, my majors are biotechnology, chemistry, zoology. Currently iam in final year. At first I had plans to pursue msc. biotechnology.,then PhD And to become assistant professor. But I had known few who did medical coding and one of them did masters but decided to do medical coding. I was advised to pursue medical coding too. I was little confused what to do , what is best for me. IM also unsure how much does the payment vary from both? Is it good choice to go for medical coding or msc ? Pls help me

It is sad to hear that even after 2 attempts, you cannot score well in NEET.
But take a good decision to join B.Sc. in Life Sciences.
You are thinking in the right direction to go for a PG and then a PhD.
Being a professor is a good thought and this profession has a much more stable life than other fields.

Related to your dilemma about medical coding: Medical coding is the process of translating healthcare diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment into standardized codes. These codes are used for billing purposes, insurance claims, and maintaining accurate medical records. Medical coding offers a stable career path with opportunities for advancement. You can go for medical coding but the payment criteria vary from institute to institute. It may range from 15 K to 30 K or on the higher side from 50 K to 70 K. There’s a high demand for medical coders in countries like the US, UAE, and Australia, offering higher salaries.
If you are not interested to shift to abroad for a job and want to stay in India only, then try to become a Professor rather than entertain in the medical coding field. First, you try to become a professor. Learn medical coding and then do two jobs simultaneously. First, teach the students and part-time, give your consultancy services in medical coding.

My goal in life is fixed, but there are two different paths to achieve it. I can do both and I am excel in both of them. But they are completely different - either Sports or either High Education through Btech and MBA. I am currently in 11th class and I am confused, should I take JEE Course for preparation or Sports Coaching to achieve apply for Events ?

Ans: Can do either. For India JEE could have a higher chance of success as Sports does face some bottle neck in the future. Focussing on sports could lower your academic scores which could create problem in getting admission to B school. Though I had a students who was pursuing professional sports and did graduation through distance learning due to which he had bad acads. He still managed to secure admission to XLRI Delhi one of the top 10 MBA colleges in India.

Ans: Getting a job with CS or ICWA looks difficult as age is not on your side. Instead do some short term job oriented courses and try and secure a job first.

Sir,my son ranked 39417 at JEE mains.(Domicile State -West Bengal) With this rank ,he is likely to get civil atleast Durgapur Nit, shibpur Eng college. Mechanical in shibpur, electrical engineering in bits mesra.or even kurukshetra for civil. Is there any chance to get mechanical in Durgapur?
