Hello Sir, I have been working in planning and supply chain domain in various FMCG and engineering organisations from past 12 years. I feel my growth has been stagnated in recent years and I am stuck at position where I don't see much growth in career. Can you suggest some path, programs to switch job in another emerging market and roles, where can learn and may dream of having good and long stable career without being in constant fear of losing job.
Ans: Yash Sir, Prior to responding to your question, the following are some recommendations: (1) Optimize your resume. (2) Post job alerts on LinkedIn that pertain to your field in order to ascertain and analyze the job market's requirements. (3) Engage in networking with professionals in your field, not to solicit employment opportunities but to solicit their guidance. Moving on to your question, Supply chain and planning expertise can be valuable in various sectors and roles. To transition towards long-term job stability, consider exploring industries and emerging markets, such as retail technology and e-commerce, green supply chains and sustainability, medical and pharmaceutical supply chains, and tech-driven sectors like AI and blockchain. Obtaining appropriate qualifications, such as supply chain and operations management, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and advanced analysis, can help stand out in different roles or sectors.

Target supply chain emerging roles, such as consultant in digital supply chain, forecasting specialist for demand planning, manager of global supply chains, and ESG manager of supply chain. Step into strategic leadership positions, such as Vice-President of Operations or Supply Chain Director, and advance from operational jobs to strategic roles.

Additionally, move to consulting or advisory capacity, such as advising companies like McKinsey, BCG, or Deloitte. Network with companies with dedicated supply chains and consider remote positions with companies using hybrid working styles worldwide.

For long-term stability, consider industries targeting less cyclicality, such as pharmaceuticals, medical & renewable energy. A short-term action plan includes obtaining qualifications in supply chain and planning, networking on LinkedIn, updating resumes, and pursuing leadership roles. All The BEST for Your Prosperous Future.

Dating, Relationships Expert - Answered on Dec 04, 2025

Relationship
My married ex still texts me for comfort. Because of him, I am unable to move on. He makes me feel guilty by saying he got married out of family pressure. His dad is a cardiac patient and mom is being treated for cancer. He comforts me by saying he will get separated soon and we will get married because he only loves me. We have been in a relationship for 14 years and despite everything we tried, his parents refused to accept me, so he chose to get married to someone who understands our situation. I don't know when he will separate from his wife. She knows about us too but she comes from a traditional family. She also confirmed there is no physical intimacy between them. I trust him, but is it worth losing my youth for him? Honestly, I am worried and very confused.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand how difficult it is to let go of a relationship you have built from scratch, but is it really how you want to continue? It really seems to be going nowhere. His parents are already in bad health and he married someone else for their happiness. Does it seem like he will be able to leave her? So many people’s happiness and lives depend on this one decision. I think it’s about time you and your BF have a clear conversation about the same. If he can’t give a proper timeline, please try to understand his situation. But also make sure he understands yours and maybe rethink this equation. It really isn’t healthy. You deserve a love you can have wholly, and not just in pieces, and in the shadows.

Hope this helps
