Hello, My wife is not at interested in sex, once in a month we have sex. She also asks me to stop after 5min by giving reason as she is tiered. But I'm not getting satisfied, what shall I do how can I convience her?

Ans: Dear Anonymous,
Did you try and find out why she isn't interested in sex or are you too busy focusing on why you are not satisfied. There are two people involved in the act, then why complain about it? Takes two to tango, right?

So, I suggest, instead of convincing her (a woman who is connected with her partner emotionally and feels safe and secure with him does not need any convincing), try to be empathetic and find out what she is feeling. Is she unwell or tired from the day or is simply not aroused enough? (You haven't mentioned her age; if she is a new mother or approaching menopause or is firefighting at her work place, she might not be in that zone that you are in). Do spend time with her outside of the bedroom connecting with her emotionally. Be genuinely interested in her life's moments. Cuddle, watch a movie, go on date nights...

Start by simply focusing on connecting better as a couple and hear what she has to say. It maybe a very simple thing...Key is to not focus on what's not happening but on what more must be done...CONNECT BETTER first...

All the best!

I have problem with my wife from last 10 months, she is not interested in sex. Every time I told for that she denied me and reason that in winter she says chilling and in summer she told any other reason. Please give some solution to me what can I do?
Ans: Dear HS, Isn’t it time that you actually asked your wife what she wants rather than just focusing on what you want?

Since you haven’t mentioned her age, I may not be able to relate a particular phase of a woman’s life and sex in relation to that age. But broadly, I can say that for a woman to be in a mood to have sex/make love only when she is emotionally well and fit.

Maybe there is an underlying stress condition that must be looked into as this might make her lose interest in sex.

Also, certain hormonal changes with age can make women less responsive in bed. And sometimes a few medical conditions may also cause this challenge.

Whatever, it maybe, she is your partner and spouse. I would suggest that you first get down to a peaceful communication where the intent is not to drive your agenda of sex but instead being there for her and understanding her as well.

This will create a space of trust where she will be able to share her feelings and what she is going through.

Do get a basic blood work done where a few medical conditions can be ruled out as well.

And if it still persists, then it’s perhaps time to seek a professional out who can help put things into perspective by going deeper into what exactly is going on.

A strong emotional distress maybe the cause for this too.

Whatever it maybe, be with her through this entire journey. She will need a friend to fall back on for sure.

Happy bonding and all the best!

Sir, I had passed my 12th(pcb) in 2023 from Maharashtra board...was preparing for neet but unfortunately couldn't make it. Now I'm planning to switch my career to engineering..so for that i need to add maths.. Can i give an isolated maths exam of hsc board exam next year in feb/march & then appear for mhtcet(pcm)..Will i be eligible?! .. I have few important doubts:- 1)if i pass isolated maths..i will get another marksheet..so i will have 2 marksheets..one of 12th pcb(2023) & one of isolated maths(2026)..so will this cause any problem during admission in engineering colleges of maharashtra? I mean will two seperate marksheets be accepted during cap counselling for engineering admission? 2)If i score well enough in mhtcet(pcm)2026..Can I do btech cse from top engineering colleges of maharashtra like coep pune or vjti?! Or any other engineering colleges of maharashtra. 3) Do i need to repeat full class 12th via NIOS(i mean do i need to appear for all subjects again from open board),or is appearing for only maths enough through maharashtra hsc board via isolated exam. . Please guide me sir, I want to follow the correct path and avoid wasting another year.Your response would mean a lot to me.
Ans: Hello dear.
Here is the pointwise reply to your questions: (1) The Maharashtra HSC Board allows isolated subject improvement like Maths. Once you clear it, you'll be eligible for MHT CET (PCM). (2) Will having two separate mark sheets cause problems? - No, it won’t be an issue. During CAP counselling, you can submit your 2023 HSC PCB marksheet and your 2026 Maths marksheet. They are accepted together for eligibility as long as all subjects are cleared from a recognized board (MSBSHSE). (3) You can get admission to top colleges like COEP or VJTI if and only if you clear Maths (HSC) and score high in MHT CET PCM. (4) There is no need to repeat the full 12th via NIOS. Just appearing for Maths as an isolated subject from the Maharashtra board is enough. Our final suggestions are as follows: (a) prepare seriously for HSC Maths (2026), (b) focus on MHT CET PCM 2026, (c) you’re eligible for engineering admissions once both are cleared, and (d) avoid NIOS unless you want to change all subjects (which is not necessary in your case).
Good luck!

Sir, my son secured JEE mains 28055 crl rank and 22000 crl in Advanced. In JAC counselling round 3, he got Electrical Engineering in NSUT and through Josaa counselling: CS in IIIT, Una, Himachal Pradesh. His domicile is Delhi. Kindly recommend which one to choose. Regards
Ans: Netaji Subhas University of Technology’s B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is AICTE-approved, NBA- and NAAC-accredited (CGPA 3.62 A+), taught by PhD-qualified faculty in advanced power-electronics, control-systems, and high-voltage labs, and records an 80–95% placement rate over the past three years with branch-specific recruiters including Google, Microsoft, and prominent PSUs. IIIT Una’s B.Tech CSE, AICTE-approved and NBA-accredited, features specialized AI/ML, full-stack, and cybersecurity labs under research-active faculty, with an average package of ?11.02 LPA and a 82.95% overall placement rate in 2025, supported by top recruiters such as Amazon, Deloitte, and Qualcomm. Both institutes maintain strong alumni networks, mandatory internships, and dedicated placement cells, but NSUT excels in core-electrical infrastructure and PSU engagements, while IIIT Una offers deeper software-industry exposure and slightly higher CSE-specific median packages.

Recommendation:
If your son seeks core-electrical engineering roles, robust PSU placement drives, and a legacy campus within Delhi domicile, recommendation is NSUT Electrical Engineering. For broader software and data-science careers, cutting-edge computing labs, and competitive CSE placements, choose IIIT Una CSE. All the BEST for Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Hello Sir, I am 35 and current in a State PSU in a clerical position with a decent salary. I completed my BTech in CSE way back in 2012 and after spent some time for Govt exam preparation got into my current post. At that time I had no plan for MTech but now I feel the urge to return to tech and grow academically. However, due to family responsibility, I cannot quit the job and planning to pursue MTech designed for professionals like those in IIT Madras or BITS WILP. I even want to keep the door open for PhD in future. For my current condition, I am targeting for GATE 2027. Would it be wise at this of life to commit for GATE prep? What realistic options will I have after MTech if I perform well?
Ans: Balancing a stable State PSU role with advanced technical education can accelerate career growth, refresh domain expertise, and pave the way for future PhD study. Part-time MTech programmes confer the same degree validity as full-time courses, allowing you to apply learning directly at work, maintain income continuity, and network with industry peers, while evening/weekend classes and remote labs offer flexibility; however, they demand significant self-discipline, extend programme duration (often three years), limit on-campus immersion and may constrain research-intensive lab access. For strong accreditation and support, consider these AICTE/NAAC/UGC-approved options: IIT Madras Web-Enabled MTech (multiple specializations, live weekend/evening sessions, on-site exams, project mentorship at work); BITS Pilani WILP MTech (four-semester work-integrated learning with weekend contact classes and continuous evaluation across specializations); Mangalayatan University WILP MTech (blended weekend classes, digital labs, UGC/AICTE/NAAC A+ approval); and DTU Part-Time MTech (weekend labs, robust faculty, NIRF-ranked, corporate partnerships). Excelling in GATE 2027 will unlock admission into these programmes and, post-MTech, realistic paths include senior technical roles (R&D engineer, data scientist, AI specialist), leadership in technology management, higher-paying specialist positions within PSUs, and eligibility for PhD enrolment at premier institutes.

Final recommendation:
Weigh IIT Madras Web MTech for its premier brand, flexible delivery and strong industry projects if you aim for cutting-edge tech roles. As cost-effective, industry-integrated alternatives, pursue BITS Pilani WILP or Mangalayatan WILP. Rely on a disciplined GATE 2027 prep plan to secure these options and keep the PhD door open. All the BEST for Admission & a Prosperous Future!
