IIIT pune has very bad placement records since 2023. From last 2 years placement percentage is 30. Can please enlighten that. What can be the reason behind it. And DAIICT and nirma has a good placement records.

Ans: Welcome, and thank you for sharing your concerns. First of all, I apologize because the sequence of preferences has been altered due to some typing mistakes. Specifically, positions 1 and 2 are changed. The correct preference order was: (1) DAIICT, (2) Pune, (3) Nirma. This mistake occurred because of the high volume of questions to be answered daily.
What you mentioned is correct. Prefer DAIICT if all the conditions are favorable to you. The final decision will be yours.

My son was getting demotivated in the initial 2 months of the drop this year in may june. He was confident of 95+ %ile but ended up with 86%ile. He was depressed because of the sudden patern change and difficulty level of questions this year in jee mains considering his preparations and mock test results 86% ile was very low. So i have sent him to UPES CSE rather than asking him to drop and prepare again. What do you think was it a right decision or is it a mistake considering that he may have done better this year but unpredictability of these exams was my concern and a wasted year would have counted later in life considering number of productive years of youth. You point of view is requested.

Sir, my daughter is getting Electrical engineering in PEC and CSE in UIET Chandigarh. Right now I am very confused and have no idea which branch should we opt. Although she has interest in computer related subjects but she also wants to go with PEC may be because of brand name. Please suggest me in the context of better job placements and future prospectives. It would be a great help.

Considering a female candidate, it is strongly advisable to choose CSE @ UIET Chandigarh for better job opportunities, a brighter future, a positive work culture, and much more. No doubt, PEC is a well-known name, but for a female, it might be difficult to work in the electrical engineering field. However, if she has specific goals such as research, teaching, or joining a government job, then her decision should be welcomed. Choosing electrical engineering without any clear aim is not recommended at all. The final decision will be yours.

My daughter got B.Tech admission offers from both IIIT Allahabad (IT) and BITS Hyderabad (Computer Science). IIIT Allahabad has good average campus placement package, and its coding culture is also better than BITS Hyderabad. Both are different fields with different career orientations. The working parameters also differ. Here, your preference is more important. I suggest you choose dental @ PDU from our side. However, if you are interested in research, then go with NFSU. The final decision will be yours.
