UIET Hoshiarpur or CCET Chandigarh? Which should I prefer ?

Ans: Hello Lovepreet.
Both are strong opinions. It would be unjust to recommend either one. You also did not mention the course. Still, I suggest considering UIET if possible. The final decision will be yours.
Good luck!

Sir, which is a better option CSE Thapar or CSE UITE Chandigarh?
Ans: Vikas Thapar University’s CSE department is renowned for its contemporary, industry-aligned curriculum, state-of-the-art facilities, and strong research orientation, consistently producing graduates who excel in both core computing and emerging areas like AI, cybersecurity, and data science. The department’s programs are benchmarked with ACM/IEEE standards, and students benefit from project-based learning, innovation modules, and deep industry collaborations, including MOUs with Infosys and IBM. Thapar’s placement record is exceptional, with 83–96% CSE placements, an average package of ?11.9 LPA, and top recruiters like Amazon, Deloitte, and IBM. UIET Chandigarh, established under Panjab University, offers robust CSE education with well-qualified faculty, modern labs, and strong industry linkages (Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon). UIET’s CSE placement rate is 80–85%, with top packages up to ?15 LPA and a strong focus on practical training, internships, and research projects. Both institutes provide global exposure through MOUs and exchange programs, but Thapar leads in research output, innovation, and recruiter diversity.

Recommendation:
Choose Thapar CSE for its superior placement rates, higher average packages, cutting-edge curriculum, and stronger industry and research connections. UIET Chandigarh is a solid alternative, but Thapar offers broader opportunities, a more innovative environment, and consistently better career outcomes for CSE graduates. , All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Ans: Aaditya, UIET Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur (Punjab) reports over 90% CSE placement with an average package around ?7 LPA and highest offers up to ?22 LPA, backed by Infosys, Wipro and IBM recruitment drives. UIET Panjab University, Chandigarh achieves 86.8% CSE placement with an average package of ?8.5 LPA and top packages near ?24.7 LPA, with recruiters like Amazon, Google and Deloitte. MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur (Rajasthan) places about 60% of its CSE students on- and off-campus, securing average packages of ?6–8 LPA and peak packages up to ?12 LPA from TCS, Adobe and Infosys. Rajasthan Technical University, Kota posts a CSE average package of ?6.5 LPA and an overall placement rate near 70%, with major hires by Infosys, Microsoft and Amazon and a university-wide average of ?7 LPA. recommendation: Opt for UIET Chandigarh CSE for its strong 86.8% placement momentum, highest average packages and top-tier recruiters. Choose UIET Hoshiarpur CSE next for its exceptional >90% placement consistency and solid industry linkages. Consider MBM Jodhpur CSE for affordable fees and core IT exposure, followed by RTU Kota CSE for its balanced median package and broad recruiter access. CTAE Udaipur CSE ranks last given its lower median packages and placement rates despite good core-engineering support. All the BEST for Admission & a Prosperous Future!

I feel like a total failure even after completing MBBS from Madras Medical College, i am not getting any job of my choice, how do i get past this
Ans: Shocked to hear your concerns! It’s surprising that even after completing MBBS from a reputed institution like Madras Medical College, you’re facing difficulties in finding the right job. But remember, this is not failure. It’s just a transition phase where patience and flexibility are key. It’s natural to feel low when expectations don’t meet reality, yet this doesn’t diminish your achievement. Explore alternative opportunities such as internships, research roles, rural postings, or preparing for specialization through NEET-PG if you haven’t already. Many successful doctors began their journeys in challenging conditions, and their perseverance eventually brought recognition. Talking with seniors and mentors can provide valuable guidance, while sharing your feelings with friends can help you avoid loneliness and fatigue.

At the same time, don’t neglect your mental and emotional well-being. Connect with peers who’ve been through similar struggles. It will remind you that this phase is temporary. You can also build additional skills in communication, public health, research, or even health technology, which may open new career paths. Use this period to strengthen your CV with workshops, volunteering, or online certifications. Most importantly, be kind to yourself: completing MBBS is already a huge accomplishment, and setbacks don’t define your worth. Sometimes, stepping back to rest and reflect can bring the clarity and energy you need to move forward with confidence.

Good luck.
