I am 51 year professional now partner in a partnership firm. Every day i am thinking about starting own firm individually but I am unable to do it. I am having some financial commitment so I am afraid of taking risk. due to this thought I am losing interest in my job and not enthusiastic. I am in this dilemma for the last few years. I know that i will get better opportunities. But fear of failure is holding me behind and every day my performance is coming down. Please advice what to do.

Failure and Success are two sides of the same coin.
If you changed the way you looked at Failures, maybe then taking a step forward would be a possibility.

- Failure helps me to re-evaluate my plans
- Failure helps me grow

Now, this may seem easier said than done. But, a small tweak in that direction will definitely help you break free from the fears that are holding you back. Also, take a leaf out of the books of successful entrepreneur and read/listen to their failure stories and how they bounced back from it. Work on this yourself and even after that if you still feel stuck, work with a professional who can guide you into breaking any self-limiting beliefs so that you can pursue your dream.
