Thank you very much Sir for your advise. Have selected a few Mid and small cap MFs for investment. Planning to invest 5K each in mid and small cap respectively. It’ll be of great help if you can suggest the best amongst them. Mid Cap: 1. Motilal Oswal mid cap fund - Direct growth option 2. Kotak emerging equity fund - Direct growth option 3. HDFC mid cap opportunities fund- Direct growth option Small Cap: 1. Kotak small cap- direct growth 2. Sbi small cap- direct growth 3. HSBC small cap- direct growth Kindly lemme know if there are some different recommendations from your end. Thanx a lot Sir for your help!!!

I am not so much into MFs but started investing around 1.5 yrs back in the below funds. Being a middle class person and having two kids (8 years and 2 years), I am planning to invest a bit more and have some decent amount after 10-15 years. Please suggest one or two good MFs in which I can start investing. Also suggest any changes that I need to make in my present portfolio -- like increase, decrease or stop. I completed B.E Mechanical engineering in 2013 and started working as Executive in Quality Control/ Quality Assurance department in Automobile/ Auto Components domain till 2022.Then, I moved to Automobile service industry. Ans: Karthick, You need to congratulate your self for having 11 years of work experience in QC/QA in Auto/ Auto components and Spares industry. Please identify possible openings in the auto industry, auto dealerships in and around your city, make applications with a well rounded bio data, prepare well for the interview and you will do well. In the meantime aslo take a up Coursera courses in EV technology as that is an area of big growth and manpower will be in short supply. Take help of your former employers, peers, seniors to recommend you for possible openings.
